Mercure Linfenxi Railway Station

The service was excellent, and the room was spotless. What really stood out was the incredible view, especially at night! Right across from the hotel, there's a street full of various local snacks, and they even offer a shuttle service.

The hotel was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. Downstairs, there's a noodle shop that's reportedly been open for 20 years, making it very convenient for dining. Since I arrived a bit early and my room wasn't ready, I went to eat first. The hotel is spotless, the breakfast is excellent, and the views from the hotel are great. Downstairs looks like a big park with a river running through it. Overall, the service and environment are excellent, and it's extremely clean. I'll definitely stay here again on my next trip, and it's also conveniently close to the high-speed rail station.

The hotel environment is absolutely beautiful, hands down the best of the three hotels I stayed at in Shanxi. Breakfast is supposedly at 7 AM, but I went down at 6:45 AM and there was already a wide selection of fresh, delicious food available. Right across from the hotel, there are small stalls every evening, like a mini night market. It's a great spot to grab some snacks and soak in the local atmosphere. I highly recommend this place!

The hotel was excellent, with a dedicated shuttle service to and from the station. They even helped with our luggage. The breakfast was incredibly rich and diverse; the beef noodle soup was especially delicious. We were in a hurry to get to Hukou Waterfall, so I didn't get a chance to take pictures. Overall, my impression of this hotel is that it's a slightly upscale budget hotel. The service is four-star, and they offer shuttle service to and from the station. At around 400 yuan a night, it's considered high-end in Linfen. **Pros:** The service is excellent and highly commendable. The station shuttle service is very thoughtful, and the car was comfortable. The complimentary welcome fruit was a nice, warm touch. The separate toilet, sink, and shower area is a great feature. **Areas for Improvement:** The air conditioning was quite noisy. The 'river view' room didn't really offer much of a river view, though I could see a bridge. The breakfast quality should be improved to match the four-star service. For instance, the freshly squeezed soy milk was too thick, indicating too few soybeans were used, and the quality of the pastries needs to be better.

Regarding the pick-up and drop-off service at Linfen West Station: The pick-up service was good, but when I booked it, they didn't ask for my order name or other details for verification, which seemed a bit unprofessional and indicated a slight lack of management. Also, when I arrived at West Station, no one contacted me until I called the hotel, and then the driver finally got in touch. There was a customer who needed a ride to the station, and I had to wait a bit. It would have been good to be informed about this beforehand so I knew what to expect. While understandable, not being told leaves customers unsure of the situation. The facilities, cleanliness, environment, and service were all pretty good. However, I hope management strengthens oversight on some of the food and water items. Don't provide items with a very long shelf life; customers might be hesitant to consume them, which leaves a bad impression.

On a business trip to Linfen, I chose this hotel due to its proximity to the high-speed train station and good reviews. They even offer a shuttle service, which is a great bonus. The hotel is also very close to Fenhe Park, offering nice views. Breakfast was decent. There's a newly opened Xiao Yao Noodle Restaurant right next to the hotel, and the food there is excellent. I ended up having dinner there every night during my stay.
