To sum it up, the service here is on par with, or even surpasses, five-star hotels. The owners are incredibly welcoming. As soon as they saw us, they came right over to greet us and even helped us carry our luggage to our room door. When we checked in, seeing that we had a child, they proactively offered an extra set of toiletries and amenities, which is a rare service even in five-star hotels where you usually have to ask for it. Plus, the front desk had freshly picked apricots that were delicious. Choosing Fan Hua Xiao Zhu for our stay in Zhangye was definitely a wise decision.

This guesthouse was surprisingly clean and tidy; I didn't expect a B&B to be managed so impeccably. The interior facilities were modern and practical, featuring a smart toilet and electric curtains. They thoughtfully provided both regular bath and hand towels, as well as disposable ones. The guesthouse is nestled in a quiet alley, offering a peaceful atmosphere. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, and it's just a ten-minute walk to the West Gate of the scenic area. We visited in late May, intending to experience the in-depth traverse of Colorful Danxia. The day before our departure, the owner proactively helped us arrange a group tour. Unfortunately, it wasn't peak season yet, and there weren't enough tourists to form a group. Upon arrival, the owner was still enthusiastic and even offered to drive us to the North Gate to try our luck finding a group there. After some consideration, we decided to stick to the standard West Gate route, not wanting to trouble the owner with extra back-and-forth travel, but we truly appreciated their genuine effort to help throughout. Surprisingly, once we reached the West Gate, we easily found a group on the spot, and the in-depth tour turned out to be incredibly worthwhile. The guesthouse's 10-yuan breakfast was arranged at the noodle shop across the street. The set meal included beef Lanzhou noodles, refreshing side dishes, and a braised egg. The noodles were freshly cooked. We informed the owner in advance that we needed to leave at 7:30 AM, and the noodle shop specially opened early to prepare our breakfast right on time. Overall, Huazhu Guesthouse has a modern decor style, maintains strict hygiene standards, and offers a quality comparable to a four-star hotel. Having compared numerous accommodations along our journey, this guesthouse, in terms of both service attitude and environmental hygiene, provided an experience that even surpassed many highly-rated four-star hotels on Trip.com.

The hygiene was excellent, and the service was thoughtful. I booked this hotel because it's close to Ximenkou (West Gate) and convenient for getting to Technology Museum venue number 1. It exceeded my expectations. All the facilities are great. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in town for work.

Had a very comfortable night's sleep. The room was clean, and there was plenty of hot water. The TV had screen casting and great picture quality. They even provided Xiaomi brand humidifiers. We went to see the 'Return to Zhangye' show, and the hotel is very close to both the scenic area and the theater. A special tip: if you buy your show tickets at the hotel, they offer a free shuttle service, saving you parking fees. Plus, there's a food festival near the theater with really affordable food. It's definitely worth seeing!

Booked this place for a trip with my classmate. The hygiene was great, plenty of hot water for showers, and the Wi-Fi was excellent. The TV had good clarity and screen mirroring was a plus. It's very close to the west gate of Zhangye Danxia National Geopark, and there are plenty of dining options right outside. The service attitude was also very good.

The hotel's location is quite close to Mars Valley, but unfortunately, there aren't many dining options nearby this season – only Qiao Family Compound is open (and their rice is cooked very well). Parking around here is very convenient, and there's a supermarket nearby too. The room is spacious and comfortable, and the hot water for the shower is excellent.
