My family of 4 visited in May, 2026. The staff was very friendly and allowed us to use the lavaratories and store our luggage before check-in. Best of all, the location is very centralized. We had a beautiful and scenic walk to the Basilica and Castle and easy walk to great restaurants. The hotel is a half block away from the walking mall/Rua Augusta and arch and a block away from the main plaza and Tagus River shoreline. Because I have 2 older teen boys, I rolled the dice and signed up for the hotel breakfast. The breakfast quality and quantity of food was impressive from Nutella pancakes to eggs, sautéed veggies, yogurt with jams, and pastries with fresh juices and coffees. It helped us to adjust quickly to the time change and get with activities. If you are a light sleeper, consider getting an interior room. We had reserved one and should have declined the “upgrade” to a classic exterior room as Lisbon has surrounding nightlife. The exterior noise was still minimal and was outweighed by the wonder room and hospitality. If you are looking to dive into the historic district of Lisbon, I would highly recommend this hotel and breakfast.
