I won’t recommend this apartment though it is only less than 10 mins walk from the Martim Moniz metro station and the city centre. The apartment is located at the back alley of some old buildings. There were a lot of homeless people and wanderers at both ends of the alleys. The most unacceptable thing was that the alley was stinky with the very bad smell of urine and garbage. Since the apartment is inside the alley that car cannot go inside, even we took Uber, we still need to walk 2-min from either end of the alley to the apartment. Unfortunately we were assigned with a room on the ground level of the 4-storey apartment. To be exact, the room was slightly below ground level, meaning that we could see the feet of the people walking on the street through the 2 windows of our room. It was also a bit noisy when people talked on the street, parked their bicycle right at the windows of our room. Obviously we couldn’t open our windows or curtains, meaning that it was like staying in a room without windows. We have asked for a change of room. Since we were staying there for 7 nights, we also didn’t mind to change for only a few nights in the middle of the stay, however we were not provided with any option to change our room even though we booked this apartment 4 MONTHS ago (not the last minute customers). Besides, the sound proofing of the apartment was bad. We could hear everyone talking outside. Since it’s the ground floor unit, there were more people passing by and going up to different floors and in and out the building, all sounds were quite annoying especially during the late night. Among the 7 nights, there were also 2 nights having some sorts of alarm in the mid nights for over 30 minutes. All these issues were very disturbing too. Adding to it, the bed and pillows of the apartment were too hard and not comfortable to us. We didn’t have any good sleep unfortunately. Nevertheless the interior of the apartment was fine, spacious and clean. Decoration was modern, daily house-keeping was also fine. There were aircon, washer and dryer, a basic coffee filter machines but not Nespresso coffee machine.

This place was spacious, clean and great. The only issue was checking in, they use an automated system and it wasn’t very efficient. Other than that, we really enjoyed this place and would be happy to stay again.

The apartment itself was comfortable, and the building itself felt secure. The everyday cleaning was a nice touch, this set up combined the convenient amenities of an apartment (the kitchen and washing machine) with some of the perks of a hotel stay (bed made for you, fresh towels) In order to access the street that the apartment is on, you need to walk past a stairwell where men like to conglomerate. We had no trouble from them, but can appreciate that this may feel intimidating. I’d recommend this accommodation in a heartbeat to groups of mixed gender (as we were) or a boys trip, but may think again if a girls trip or young families.

The host didn't email the door code to me and there was no one answering the doorbell for the first three times my friends and I tried when it's raining heavily outside that day. I called the owner and they said they would open the door but they didn't and I had to call another time so that they would actually give us the door code to get into the building. The environment around the stay is very dirty, the road is full with dog poops everyday since morning and it smells very bad. My belonging is missing in the apartment when I'm very sure that it was still in the bathroom before we left the room. I'm not sure if the cleaner broke it or something else, but I asked them and they say there's nothing they can do about it. I don't mind if they broke it i just want an explanation about why is it missing and they just ignored me, instead they just say they couldn't find the item. The cleaner cleans the room everyday, the room is clean and is a nice place to sleep overall.

The accommodation is very nice and close to major tourist attractions around Centro. The alley is a little scary to enter at night, but other than that, everything is good. I am satisfied. This is a recommended accommodation.

The room is really nice... it's clean and tidy and it's like an apartment. It has tableware, a hot water kettle, and even pots and pans... you can cook! But if you are a girl, I don’t recommend booking this place! First of all, the location is in an alley next to the square. When you get out of the subway entrance, you have to carry a suitcase and climb a lot of steps. Even though some of the corners are really dark and emm... the smell of urine... there is no front desk, only a machine for self-service check-in. , don’t book if you can’t speak English at all! !

After the first impact of finding the bed unmade, everything else went well. Even though it's an app they do the cleaning every day. The kitchen is a little poorly equipped, there is no microwave as written, but an oven. Easy check-in and even late check-out. Fantastic place.

The hotel facilities are complete and the location is convenient. The only drawback is that it is in a dangerous location and is a gathering place for thieves and gangs. 

Not a bad place, quiet, but be prepared for the fact that city tax must be paid by card at the terminal on the 1st floor.

The apartment is excellent! Very pleasant, comfortable, well equipped kitchen, everything great. Very well located, close to the main tourist attractions. What made us very uncomfortable was the presence of people at the entrance to the street, who stay day and night, selling and using *****. The authorities need to take a stand, as this situation is quite embarrassing and unpleasant. There are families walking around the place, and the feeling of insecurity is great.

The internal facilities are good, you can cook and wash clothes. The transportation is very convenient, just a few steps to the city center. The surrounding public security is not good, there are disorderly people, it is very noisy at night, and it is difficult to sleep well.
