My stay was okay, and I liked the location. But there were a few issues that were disappointing. First, check in began at 2 p.m., and I informed the host that I would arrive at 4:30 p.m. I received a message around 3:30 p.m. that the apartment was ready. And yet, when I arrived at about 4:40 p.m., the cleaner was still cleaning the apartment. Second, the toilet seat was broken. Third, due to a mutual communication issue, the host and I arranged for one of their employees to pick up the remaining funds from the apartment the day after I checked in. When I asked what time the employee would be coming by, I did not receive a response (but was later told that an employee had responded, which was not true—I checked). And when the employee finally did show up, she simply opened the door without knocking first (although she was apologetic). Finally, Wi-Fi connection instructions should be provided either in the welcome email or written somewhere clearly upon entering the apartment. I shouldn’t have had to request the instructions from the host (which, itself, required an Internet connection), just to be told that it was on the back of the router.

It was very noisy outside starting Friday afternoon and lasted until late Sunday night. People were drinking, talking loud, sitting around in front of the entrance. Seems like the place next door hosted events that drew the people there. But the place was nice.

My two friends and I stayed in the apartment for 2 nights before being forced to leave because we were robbed when we left the apartment. We 100% believe that it was the company who robbed us! They conveniently robbed us the day before we were meant to check out and didn’t steal our passports. The police explained to us that they usually steal passports so that whoever was robbed can’t write up a police report because they have no ID presuming they don’t have any other form of ID with them. Some cash of mine was also taken but I hid it in a very subtle way in my suitcase and no one would have been able to find it without knowing where it was. The police even found this suspicious themselves because they said it was a very good hiding place and asked if anyone had been in the room with us when I was hiding it. This makes me believe there’s cameras in the room. The owners are the first people I rang and the woman we booked with came straight away. She explained that you could easily get into our room with a credit card if you were skilled enough to do it but why then have a lock which can be easily opened by the wrong people?? That made me even more suspicious because there was no damage done to any windows or doors. The police even locked the door the same way we did and tried beating the door down and couldn’t so I believe whoever robbed us had a key. The company are refusing to compensate us and have blocked our booking from writing a review on ***********

My friend booked an apartment with this company for a small girls trip. We arrived Monday morning and checked in at 2 the same day. On Tuesday we found Cockroaches in the apartment after returning home from a boat ride. On Wednesday my friends and I decided to go to the beach and upon returning back to the apartment had discovered someone had let themselves into the apartment and helped themselves to our possessions and money. The police where fantastic and helpful during the traumatic experience unlike Your Lisbon home who told us they would not be compensating us as it was not their fault that our possession and cash all worth over 1000 euro was stolen from the apartment.

We booked 5 nights, left after 2. The door from the street into the building was broken and anyone can walk in easily (as we did whenever we left/got back). There were people coming and going every 20mins ALL night. It was an average (at best) room. We got no sleep and eventually left so we didn’t ruin the remaining time we had through being exhausted and irritated. When we told the host what had happened (politely and asked for a refund for our remaining 3 nights - we of course would pay for the time we spent there) WE were blamed for having to leave. Not only did she blame us but then cancelled our reservation and therefore our ability to leave a review through *********** where we booked. I would NEVER recommend this place to ANYONE. Never have I met a more unhelpful host who was downright rude. I’d I could give no star ratings I would. Long and short of it: book LITERALLY anywhere else in Lisbon cause this isn’t worth the time it takes to push the button to book. DISGRACEFUL.
