Capital Hotel

Lovely staff. Friendly and eager to help. Your valet/bellmen are awesome. They are super helpful. Rooms are dated and need a little TLC. Overall a very good experience. Peter in the bar is great. He actually introduced me to a new drink product.

The room was ready for my early arrival; it remained spotless for my stay. The restaurant has an ambitious menu and lives up to its promise.

I have stayed in nice hotels all over the world. NYC, London, Paris, Singapore, Hong Kong, etc etc. The Capital holds it's own against any of the "big city" hotels.

We stay her 1-2 times per year on our way through Little Rock. This hotel is an historic treasure! Beautifully restored and maintained. Attention to every detail. Rooms are impeccably cleaned and prepared. Food at both restaurants is outstanding. Great staff at every level. A treat to stay here!

It had been a long time since we had stayed there. Forgot how charming it was and such a nice get away place. I did not think the breakfast was very good. Coffee was cold when it came, but waiter took care of that really quick. We had the egg breakfast with grits and toast. Bacon was ok, but did not like the house made sausage nor the grits. Eggs were cooked like we liked, but again so-so. Our waiter was outstanding. She provided excellent service and very pleasant.

All in all a very good stay. The only issue was while having dinner in the bar/restaurant area a large peloton of strange riders came in be in very loud and obnoxious. Sat down for about 15 mins didn’t order drinks and ruined the vibe.

Beds are not comfortable. Sheets are nice and bedding is simple. But mattress is like a rock. Pillows are good.

Room was spotless. A/C worked great. Fabulous historic hotel!

The Hotel itself was unbelievably cool. We spend a lot of time at resorts, The Capital was everything those places aren’t; cool, comfortable, charming, with character to spare.
