AC Hotel Little Rock Downtown

The hotel is very modern--nice updates. Well-appointed room, excellent shower. The staff was helpful and courteous. The restaurant has a limited dinner menu, but the food was good.I love the fact the free street parking on weekends, so I could skip the costly valet service!

Modern hotel in excellent condition in downtown Little Rock. Check-in staff was friendly and efficient. Room was a bit small, very well-appointed with all modern amenities

Everything was wonderful! Quick check in, clean and comfortable room, nice bar. We were happy with every aspect.

By far this hotel has the best staff that I have encountered in a long time. They go over and beyond to ensure you have a great stay. Couple that with nice, modern style rooms makes this one of thebest hotels in downtown LR.

Derek who is manning the evening shift when we came in late, was outstanding, and helped to make the stay wonderful.

I was told my room was unavailable due to a sprinkler issue. I was also told the hotel staff had been trying to contact me in regards to my room. Both statements were a lie, as they apparently did not have my contact info through *******, and they had overbooked the hotel and given my room to someone else. I had a professional licensing exam at 8:45 the next morning and had specifically booked this hotel due to the proximity of my testing location. I was then directed to another Marriott hotel 15 minutes away, did not get to my new room until 1:30am, and I had to incur extra fees to secure transportation to my testing location. Absolutely unprofessional. I will never book a Marriott hotel again.

We were next to a work out area on the third floor. It was so noisy that we could not sleep when it was in use It sounded like the wall was coming down when a heavy weight was dropped. I have never used a work out unit on an upper floor with no effort on the designer or owners to correct the defect. They have been told about it by management but nothing has been done. I always use one on trips. We left a day early. I can not recommend this hotel.

Staff were great and accommodating. Some room issues like the shower water never truly got hot, just luke warm.

Where do I begin? First of all, the rooms are so small and tiny. The room was not clean when we arrived, there was hair and dirt on the bathroom floor. There was food and stains on the carpet next to the bed. The toilet was having trouble flushing and at one point I just couldn't flush the toilet. It was stopped up so I went to the front desk asking for them to send a maintenance person. They told me that they do not have maintenance people on call. I asked to be switched to a different room and they said that they were booked solid and they could not switch me to a different room. First of all, if you're booked, completely booked and there are five floors worth of toilets in your hotel which is supposed to be an upscale Hotel then you need to have a maintenance person on call PERIOD. Luckily, someone booked two rooms by accident so I was able to switch rooms, however, this new room still was not clean. There were circle cut marks on all of the tables. There was dirt on the floor. There was some gunk or lotion or I don't know what it was in the shower. Lastly, what I didn't like was how heavy the doors were. Every time someone closed a door it slammed shut so imagine on a Saturday night after midnight when people are all coming back to their rooms slamming doors. I decided to switch hotels for my last night there because it was unbearable. I see that they are adding some charges to my credit card for some reason.
