JI Hotel (Liuzhou Yaobu Ancient Town Chengzhong Wanda)

This was the worst experience I've ever had with any Ji Hotel. The room smelled terrible from the moment I entered – the lingering stench of a freshly mopped floor. The hotel environment was also poor; it was in an old town area, and there was a row of barbecue restaurants downstairs, making it very noisy. At night, I could smell the carbon dioxide residue from burning honeycomb panels, which was very unpleasant. I suspect it was from some shop downstairs burning coal briquettes. A truly awful experience! Even with the lowest setting on the heating vent, the room was still very noisy. When I checked out, the lobby manager asked how my stay was and I said it wasn't good. He then kept following me around, nagging and trying to add me on WeChat for a private chat – incredibly annoying! Also, the 339 RMB room rate didn't include breakfast; breakfast cost an extra 25 RMB per person! The crucial point is that no one swiped their room card to confirm their reservation when I ate breakfast – wasn't that a waste of my money? That's quite bizarre! In short, it was terrible! The hygiene was poor, and the surrounding environment was also unpleasant.
