Reviews of Hard Days Night Hotel Liverpool

I would have given our stay 5 stars but our room (103) was right above Mathew street and the live music went on until 2am. Hard to get a good nights sleep. Everything else about the hotel was absolutely perfect. Location, amenities, food and service.

As a massive Beatles fan we were really looking forward to staying as we were in town for a gig. Front desk staff were fantastic and really helpful! No complaints with them at all. The room was really big however was missing its basic necessities like a bin and toilet brush. The pillows and bed were generally quite uncomfortable. It was so noisy at night. Great location with being next to the cavern club however that meant the bars keep you up until stupid o clock I think it finally went quiet around 3am. The next morning I was shocked to see the state of the duvet we had been sleeping with. Overall a great location with great Beatles connection.

Noise from the pub on the street all night long, some of the rooms have malfunctioning card reader and cannot turn on the lights.

I personally found the hotel exactly as described on it's website! I shared one of their deluxe twin rooms with a friend and it was way bigger and more comfortable than most I've stayed in! No complaints whatsover! All the Beatles pics and memorabilia was exactly as stated and was a great supplement to a great hotel in my opinion as a big Beatles fan! The fact that it's so close to the Cavern Club, and therfore is situated right at the heart of Liverpools "Musical" centre, and "elelectic" atmospheric nightlife, was exactly what I was looking for! But round the corner, back into the hotel and it was back to a quiet, chilled atmosphere! Best of both worlds! Live music in a cool bar at weekend nights, delicious buffet breakfast, pretty much with everything you would want! Can't complain one single bit! That was my experience honestly! Quick, simple checking and check out! Cannot understand the negative reviews I read before I booked, which admittedly nearly put me off booking! All I can say say is, either those negative reviews were unusual or by very fussy people, or exceptional in the extreme! 10 out of 10! Keep it up all you staff in the hotel! You are the one's who make it work so well! Chic Canning, Motherwell, near Glasgow !

Excellent hotel,clean and spacoius....just no parking at bay

Highly disappointed as I booked two nights for my mom and her husband who were visiting the UK for the very first time. My mom is the biggest Beatles fan and I was so excited to book this hotel for her. When I booked, I asked for the hotel to make sure to give her a good view on a high floor not knowing there are only 5 floors. I’ve attached a pic of the literally trashy view she had. Now, if this view is the only option on the 5th floor, then an email should have been sent for better views on lower floors. because I did ask for a high floor not knowing what the hotel is like. No wonder the pictures of the hotel and the rooms when booking are not clear. This hotel is beautiful from the outside but unfortunately the inside is just a regular old hotel with pics of the Beatles scattered around. If this isn’t bad enough, one of the days they left the hotel without taking a shower because there was no hot water and no warning of it. My mom was polite and kind and told me she had a good time, but that’s only because the hotel is in a good location. Parking was a headache as there was no clear direction and she was not told about the fee prior to. Overall, a very disappointing experience. There is a lot of room for improvement here.

Brilliant room . Good sleep. Good food in restaurant but staff could be improved .

Was first allocated room 213, but asked for an alternative, merely because there wasn’t enough sockets and a mirror to get ready- moved to 401, all was great, a gentleman working transporting luggage around the hotel was particularly helpful and character that excels guests stays, personable and passionate. Really chuffed, will return.

A must for Beatles fans. Great location next to the legendary Caverns Club, helpful staff, good breakfast with Beatles hits as background music.

Perfect room amazing experience , breakfast was lovely . So close to town centre, train station and Matthew’s street full off bars and Beatles experiences.

Ideal location, would stay again. Bedroom with balcony was perfect, as was well above street level. Reception staff helpful.

clean and tidy, good service.Easy ti recognise since the statues of the Beatles members can be seeb clearly on the external wall of the building. Quite near to LFC official shop.Even nearer to Cavern Club. It is a,good choice if these 2 places are your favorite places to go in Liverpool.
