First impressions were very good, cared for flower beds and fresh paint throughout. We got a nice welcome from Moses and the staff were very friendly. The hotel seems to cater mainly for coach parties of a certain age. The lift is very small, so stairs were a challenge for many of the guests. Our room was large and clean, however the furniture was cheap and nasty, pillows awful and the bed too high for many people. Good sized bathroom, however the shower was unnecessarily small, stickers still on the toilet and the worst design taps ever. No fans available, signs warning of seagulls so had to keep the sash windows only slightly open, so the room was roasting. Meal times highly regimented, pre-ordered the previous day. I only had 1 full English, not good. Evening meals generally quantity over quality, although the soups were delicious. Entertainment was bingo followed by a vocalist, quite good singers, but repertoire was 1950-60 genre. Would I stay again? No, however llandudno is a very nice period town, well worth a visit.
