We stayed here for 6 nights + it was wonderful. It’s just so peaceful + relaxing being here, we had the best time. There’s 3 pools to choose from, that are never overcrowded, often you have one to yourself. The location is stunning, places in the middle of a vineyard, the grounds are kept beautifully clean, theres farm animals to go and see too. The staff are very friendly + multilingual. The rooms are great + cleaned daily. We didn’t try the evening food as we chose to eat out but the breakfast was lovely, as well as the wine we enjoyed in the evening. We did have a car and we’re able to explore the surrounding areas which are stunning, naturally beautiful and not magaluf-esque. Cala pri and s’arenal de sa rapita are a must for stunning beaches! We would definitely come again! Thank you, Sa Bassa Plana!

My husband and I have just returned from a short 3-night trip to this hotel and look forward to returning again soon. The hotel is very rural so you definitely need a car to be able to get out and about. It is also very quiet, so if you're looking for a lively resort with entertainment then this isn't the place for you. This is exactly the reason we liked the place so much - lots of peace and quiet to really relax! The staff at the hotel were very friendly and welcoming. It seemed to be catered more for Spanish and German guests, which is normal in many parts of Mallorca but we had no problems communicating with staff. Rooms very very clean and comfortable. We had access to everything we needed. We didn't use the pools, but there were three well maintained pools. One of the pools was undercover. Plenty of sunbeds were available around the pool. Breakfast was fine and plenty of it. There were some cooked items each day and a selection of breads, cheeses, meats, pastries etc. We didn't eat at the hotel for our evening meal. There is only one dinner option each day, which is displayed on a board in the breakfast room. Unfortunately the options weren't to our taste, so we decided to eat elsewhere before coming back to the hotel in the evening. I would say this is the one limitation to the hotel; there are not any other bars / restaurants nearby so you have to travel or eat before coming back for the day. This wasn't an issue for us, but could see it being inconvenient for others so definitely something to be aware of if you are considering this hotel. You can walk through the vineyards to the Bodegas Vi Rei winery, which is less than a 10 minute walk. We enjoyed doing this and picking up a bottle of wine to enjoy on our balcony. Hotel guests get 10% off in the shop. The winery offer tours and tasting, which is definitely worth trying. I would highly recommend this hotel and we will look to stay here again. My tip to others would be to check out the location before booking - if you are looking for somewhere quiet and out of the way then this hotel would be perfect for you.

We stayed in August 2022. Everything was wonderful. The location is excellent for visiting the nearby beaches, convenient for moving around the coast, a quiet place to rest after active days at the seaside. Restaurant with typical dishes and 0 km wine, produced from the hotel's vineyards. Two swimming pools surrounded by greenery. Abundant sweet and savory buffet breakfast. The coffee needs improvement but the rest of the drinks are good. Spacious room, with comfortable and clean bathroom. Silent air conditioning. Impeccable daily cleaning. Large and comfortable bed. I would stay here again!

Hotel on a farm surrounded by animals on a large estate. Several points are to be deplored: The breakfast is not varied and changes every other day to return to the previous day! The bedding is rather poor quality. The swimming pools are not absolutely clean. The hotel is abandoned and it’s a shame there is potential with around fifty rooms. Fortunately, we did not take half board.

Unfortunately, I can't recommend it. The rooms were cleaned every day - that was the best thing about the hotel. The atmosphere was very cold. We booked half board and were very disappointed. There was little choice in the morning and in the evening there were plated meals. As we don't eat pork, we weren't offered any alternative. The service then tried to sell us pork as poultry. Just a complete rip-off! The money for half board is not worth it. The hotel is very far out of town, so only tourists can reach it with a rental car.

I took the breakfast package so my opinion concerns that. not varied at all, the same thing every other day! with such a garden and so many fruits I find it a shame that there is no fresh orange juice especially in spain... fruit only watermelon and yellow melon every morning while the garden is rich in fruit (fig, apple, lemon etc etc). If you don't eat meat, you'll eat almost nothing!! coffee machine dispenser. Honestly I expected a lot better. Really unfortunate that the content varies every other day to find the same thing. does not match the description. can do much better When I see the photos on the site and the reality I say to myself I must have chosen the wrong hotel.. hotel not maintained. cracks everywhere in the walls even in the exterior corridors. shower with rust. bed not at all comfortable, the mattress must be 15cm maximum thick placed on a box spring with feet that move. the best thing is the balcony but we don't sleep there Swimming pool: 1 was dirty and had to be cleaned. the swimming pool closed you have to see the condition cleaning done every day 10/10 sorry I put 3 without doing it on purpose it's a shame because the hotel is beautiful and has a lot of potential but left abandoned ahh yes I forgot .. slow or non-existent wifi

apparently it doesn't matter to the owner/directorate what's going on there. Amenities: getting old, lobby/bar: dark dingy toilet broken. Internet reception: rare. Room cleanliness: passable, the pictures on the website do not correspond to reality. Not even a bottle of water in the room for new arrivals, hotel complex unfortunately too remote to be able to quickly buy something next door if the bar is either closed or service is refused because the barmaid is offended after a well-intentioned suggestion. Very unprofessional receptionist/barmaid. Hire a car as the nearest village is 7km away - there you will find the kind of hospitality that Sa Bassa unfortunately lacks.
