Best Hotels in Llucmajor

We couldn’t have been happier with our hotel and where it was. It was busy but still a nice place. We had a warm welcome from reception with lots of info. Despite being early for check in our room was ready. Loved the balcony and big bed. Food was great, the cakes and yoghurt was so creamy. Managed to do as much sunbathing on the beach as shopping in the town, got best of both. This was just a great place for us, glad we did the research.

Pros...Cannot fault the hotel for cleanliness, everywhere seemed spotless. Friendly staff on duty, working long hours. I didn't mind leaving a euro deposit on the plastic beaker as when the beaker was returned the euro was returned. This system really helped all areas around the pool stay nice and clean. Makes total sense to me. Sunbeds nice and comfortable and always managed to get one on the few occasions we had a pool day. Bedroom was a perfect size, as was the bathroom. Both areas spotless and clean with comfy beds. Maid service was excellent with fresh towels daily with 3 bed linen changes during our week's holiday, although one slight issue our bedroom door was left open ajar one day. Nothing taken so no harm done. (Sure it was just an accident). Cons...The only things that let this hotel down were the main road right outside the hotel. Traffic noise constantly, and despite asking for a quiet room we were placed on the 3rd floor overlooking this road. (Maybe this was a quiet room)? Unable to sit on balcony and relax (due to road noise) which was a shame. Also, as many have already mentioned, the cockerills are horrendous. I took ear plugs but could still hear the constant noise. Also, some people need to learn a bit of respect for others and turn the door handle when closing their bedroom door late at night or early morning. It is possible to close them quietly. Came home exhausted from lack of sleep. We had to cross the busy road to get to main hotel, (where the dining room is), only a problem when it was raining heavy one morning so maybe take a brolly? Food was mainly ok, but we also ate out quite a bit to avoid the canteen feel of the dining room. Overall we had a good holiday but I'm sorry to say I wouldn't stay here again, or recommend it to my family or friends due to the road noise and cockerills.

Das whala!fun liegt am Hafen von El Arenal in einer der etwas ruhigeren Straßen. Das Hotelpersonal war durchweg freundlich, zuvorkommend und sprach sogar teilweise deutsch. Die Zimmer sind zwar recht klein, doch stets sauber und freundlich eingerichtet. Unser persönliches Highlight war die Dachterasse, die man Ende September fast ganz für sich alleine hat. Dort kann man prima den ganzen Tag verbringen, kann sich nach Belieben mit kühlen Getränken von der Bar oder einem kleinen Snack verwöhnen lassen. Die großzügigen Liegen und der Pool laden zum Entspannen ein und auch abends kann man dort noch einen Absacker trinken und den Tag gemütlich mit einem Blick auf den schönen Hafen ausklingen lassen. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis konnte uns auch absolut überzeugen. Danke!

Dont let bad reviews put you off!!! After reading previous reviews we were apprehensive about going! But we were pleasantly surprised! The hotel itself is really nice, comfy well decorated and reception was really posh! Greeted with a lovely lady member of staff! The room was basic, really nice shower and the balcony was fine. Everything you needed. The only downside was the hairdryer. Definitely take your own. The pool area was lovely and it definitely has the sun hit it! Do not be put off! The sun was there all day! I caught a tan easily and there is a nice bar inside and even it own lifeguard. The breakfast was lovely, everything from pastry to cereal to fruit and fried breakfast and even different types of milk! The spa was definitely a highlight! The massage was incredible. I would definitely recommend this hotel it is so close to the harbour and beach but far enough not to hear noise! The only downside is occasional noise from rooms above but but to be expected . We went for a long weekend and for what we paid I would definitely return!

Como hotel de dos estrellas está mucho mejor de lo que cabria esperar... buen desayuno, aunque no tiene platos calientes pero si todo tipo de panes, bolleria, embutidos, leches, zumos, etc La ubicación no es lo mejor ya que esta un poco alejado de la playa, pero en una zona tranquila y nuestra habitación tenia vistas despejadas a un pinar. La habitación estaba reformada con televisión y aire acondicionado El personal muy amable y atento. Un sitio perfecto para unas vacaciones económicas en la playa de Palma

Second time going with iberostar in Spain. Wasn’t a question after the first to go with it again and this one seems even better than last year in Tenerife! Friendly staff, comfy, clean & spacious room, great choice of food (breakfast is the best with churros, grill is always a good idea at dinner). The hotel itself is not overcrowded, there are just enough rooms, so you don’t feel overwhelmed by an enormous hotel complex. Upon arrival our luggages were taken right away, check-in could be done online since we booked on iberostar’s website so only final touches were made and while we had to wait around 5 minutes we were offered refreshments and fruits. Our room is standard with a side sea view on the 4th floor but still it seems like one of the best rooms and the side sea view is just partly side, the view is basically amazing. Airport 10 minutes away, Palma 15 mins by taxi and you can always count on the staff to order one for you. One of the best choice when staying in Mallorca!

First impressions were good, pleasant reception staff and clean facilities, the receptionist with short brown hair was exceptionally helpful when it came to answering any questions we had. The room: Mattress was incredibly rigid and uncomfortable. The walls were so thin, if you’re a snorer just know the people 3 doors down will hear you. We had to stock our own toilet roll throughout the stay from the trollies in the hall. I will however comment on how good the shower was. Location: The hotel was based in a quieter part of the ***** up a small hill. So avoid if you have trouble with mobility. However only a small distance the the main part of the resort which was ideal. With transport links close by if you fancied a day trip out (would definitely recommend Palma) Restaurant: Needs work. Food for the most part was acceptable. But lacked in variety with both the amount of options and the daily changes. I did however enjoy the profiteroles on a daily basis. I would ask that they also check their fruit a little more thoroughly as we came across a few plums that seemed to be going bad. Pool: Albeit we visited out of season, but the pool area lacked atmosphere and we found ourselves out and about more often than not because of this. The roof terrace advertised with a pool was also closed throughout our duration which we weren’t made aware of whilst booking and the sauna was “out of order” throughout our stay. AOB: Resort is mainly German tourists and is quite a lively destination but do not let this put you off as myself and partner rather enjoyed the atmosphere (and steins), we also enjoyed a few nights in the hotel playing games over a few drinks. They have a pool table, hockey table and selection of games such as cards or dominoes available. You do have to pay to use your room safe (3€ a day plus a 20€ deposit). Pool towels can be rented with an additional 1€ charge per change, however all the local shops sell them at an affordable price if you find yourself needing one. Would say this is more a 3 star hotel overall.
