We flew into Milan bergamo and it took hour and 45 mins to drive to hotel. Tranfer would of cost around 500€ so I hired a car for £180 and well worth it. On arrival to hotel it was dark and wow very very steep so if you struggle walking I would look else where. The hotel is not modern or luxury but to be honest I felt it fitted with the location as very quirky and quaint. The hotel reception staff very helpful and friendly as were the majority of bar/restaurant staff. The young man in the pizzeria was amazing and loved him. Booked half board so when we arrived we had missed dinner but was given a voucher to use in the pizzeria which was lovely. Food in there I can not fault and the views whilst eating and relaxing out standing. Breakfast we only had once as wasn't great so never went back but dinner was acceptable. Its not the best food but again its not a 4/5 star hotel. Our room was very quirky and not the best decor and stairs up to sleeping area wasn't great as bathroom downstairs and very very basic but WOW WOW WOW THE VIEWS!!! We stayed in room 6522 and had the most amazing views with large communal terrace but you can hear your neighbours. Shower inadequate, but as mentioned very basic. No entertainment in the evening but again after full days of exploring we were shattered and sitting with a drink and table service with a smile was all we needed. Shuttle bus down to limone village from hotel was only 1.50€ per person and went every hour. Parking at hotel but again be prepared to do a lot of hiking up to hotel and surrounding areas. Little shop on site where you can buy refreshments, book trips was handy but the guy who run this wasn't the most approachable. Spa was amazing, outside pool with the views amazing and would I return 100%. See photos and see for yourself but hiring a car is a must

I was so worried coming here after reading all the reviews. Was pleasantly suprised. Room was pretty basic and the balcony was super tiny but what a view!! Kinda made up for it. Fresh towels everyday, room was clean. Air con stopped working after day 2 but we didn't bother to complain. Breakfast wasn't for us but that was preference, it all looked lovely. The pool was beautiful and clean. The little pizzeria attached was outstanding. Now.... the hill. To get views like that it was to be expected but we're a couple in our 40s, fit and healthy and oh my, it wrecked us everytime! It's so steep. Didn't realise until the second last day that they do actually put on a little mini bus to ferry you back and forward, would have been so much easier. Lovely place, nothing bad to report. Annoyed I wasted so much time worrying about how terrible it would be. The views were just spectacular.

There was an extreme amount of unnecessary furniture in our room we could barely make it around without tripping over a table or chair. House keeping folded our dirty towels instead of replacing with clean ones. Our bedsheets we’re not changed in the four nights we stayed. We asked for clean sheets on night two & the receptionist (unfriendly) told us because we were in a room and not a apartment that we could not have fresh sheets. The reception staff were extra unfriendly and giggled infront of us when we requested a fan as the air con is very poor. The breakfast staff were amazing & Christian his wife & I think father were really lovely and other than this I would not return. The views from the hotel are fantastic. Overall a very poor experience made up by breakfast staff.

Very nice place and kind staff but the hotel is located on top of the hill so there is A LOT of climbing.

We are a young couple from the U.K. who wanted to go on a cheap and cheerful break for 5 days. We were a little put off by the reviews when first reading, but thought we’d risk it and hope for the best! I’m glad we did. Firstly we hired a rental car from the airport which we would highly recommend doing! We arrived at the hotel which was situated on a hill which we expected. The lead up to the hotel is extremely steep even for us two youngsters we were out of breath at the top! The hotel provide a shuttle bus that can take you up and down and to the nearest town, there is a small charge for this. Parking is available all around the hotel so there shouldn’t be a problem getting a space. When we arrived we were warmly welcomed at reception. We were given a hotel map which not only showed where our room was but also eating times, gym and Spa times and other things that were available at the hotel. This was really helpful, also at reception there is a table with excursion information and a small shop selling refreshments, toiletries and a few souvenirs. I should add on arrival we were asked by reception to pay a small fee to cover the Limone Tax which was 1.50€ a day. Our Room Our room was a little walk from reception up a small hill, it was a double basic with a bathroom and balcony. It’s fair to say the room was slightly dated but fell nicely into the authentic Italian decor not something that bothered us at all. The view from the balcony was unbelievable and we really couldn’t believe how beautiful it was! We had a great shower no problems with water. Our room was also cleaned every day which was very much appreciated. Dining We stayed half board (breakfast and dinner) the food doesn’t have the wow factor but does the job. There was plenty of tea and coffee/ juice at breakfast with hot and cold food options. Our evening meal did not include drinks and were bought separately at the bar which we expected. Miry and her team that ran the dining room were absolutely fantastic. We were really impressed being such a small team with such a large area to cover! They always had a table ready for us and wanted to help where they could. If you do want to try something different there is another area called the pizzeria just a little walk from reception which do other foods, however you do have to pay for this. We found the staff there very helpful and polite also. Gym and Spa It’s 6€ for the spa which includes a pool, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi with the most incredible view. The gym is free for all hotel users. We were given fresh towels and a locker along with a quick tour showing us how everything worked in the spa. The indoor pool was very clean and surprisingly quiet also at a good temperature. The outdoor pool area looked very clean but I can’t comment on temperature as we never went in! The Area The area the hotel is situated in is just beautiful, you are about 30 mins walk from Limone which you can access by foot or by car. Limo

When we arrived at the hotel I was flabbergasted by the scenery and staff. They were very kind and I loved the roof Terrance. Also the spa was AMAZING! I even got a happy ending. Didn’t speak any Albanian tho.

On arrival staff were quite polite however trying to find our room was a nightmare and directions weren’t very clear. The first night we decided to have dinner at the hotel wasn’t amazing not much selection to be honest. Luckily enough the hotel is quite close to the centre of limone so it’s only a 30 minute walk or you can get the bus from the hotel which was good. One thing me and my friend felt very uncomfortable with was other people staying at the hotel and even the staff at times staring at us and giving us dirty looks and we felt very out of place which isn’t what we wanted especially when going on holiday. One of the staff members in particular was quite rude, when we went into the hotel shop he wasn’t very welcoming and when we wanted to pay with card he would grunt mutter under his breath when walking away to get the card machine which is incredibly rude. Other than not feeling very welcome and slightly disappointed with majority of the hotel stay the town centre is beautiful, the pizzeria on the hotel site the staff in there are lovely and the wellness centre is nice, however I wouldn’t stay again
