What a place! It’s like something out of Agatha Christie’s Poirot ❤️ The hotel is beautiful, the bar and fire area a dream, the food is superb quality but the best thing by a mile is the staff - they are just so lovely (special mentions to Alex, Julien and Brendan). There’s some great crêperies in the village and the beach area and walks are just so peaceful too. We can’t wait to go back!

Truly a quite delightful hotel. We have travelled quite extensively, and this hotel goes straight into our top ten. Its position is wonderful, overlooking its own beach, with walks from the gate, and yet set within the lovely small town of Loquirec. We asked for a room with sea view and terrace/veranda- a lovely room- and were delighted to find that we could enjoy the sunrise every morning. The gardens have character and provide many places for sitting and lounging and enjoying those views. The indoor pool of hotels is often set in the basement- but not this one, it looks across the gardens, and is exactly as described in the brochure. An excellent restaurant, which is quite formal but not fussy, and also the restaurant at Hotel du Port is recommended. Excellent service from everybody. We call this a “destination hotel”, it’s worth coming here just for the hotel- but of course there is so much more. The hotel has a wonderful ambience, its character is described as New England, but its soul is most definitely Proust. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely, bright comfortable room with a terrace and view of the sea, plenty of storage and a clean, modern bathroom. Bed comfortable, pillows squashy and locality quiet enough to sleep with the windows open. The area has varied and impressive coastal paths and the intrepid can learn to sail/surf/windsurf. The non-intrepid can hire electric bicycles. We liked being able to visit the pool etc without booking, and the public areas were very inviting and cosy. We felt at home. The local restaurants were all very good and friendly. We had dinner once at the hotel, and were not impressed. When my main course arrived I thought they had brought someone's little starter plate by mistake. I asked if the veg came separately but a smear of green was my spinach and three minuscule slivers of potato were concealed under a tiny sprig of decorative cress. The fish had not been cooked fresh to order as I would expect at these prices and one fillet was half the size of the other. We had cheese to follow to try to recoup some calories and the kind young man who served it gave me an extra morsel of bread, bless him. We cut our losses before dessert, as I had visions of someone elaborately bisecting a raspberry and serving it with a flourish, and went to bed hungry. We decided to see the funny side and it didn't spoil our fantastic holiday. To end on a high note, breakfast is superlative. I have never had better.

Exceptionally good. Frankly a bit of a surprise. Spotlessly clean with lovely sea views. Helpful and efficient staff.

A lovely hotel in a good location. However service was poor. Room cleaning was very hit and miss. Service in the restaurant very slow and some staff rude and nost seened tured of dealing with customers.

This is just a very good Hotel . It must remain as such with new Owners. The staff are very good. Great food. Great pool and Spa. Wonderful position next to the sea. Pretty Town of Locquirec . I do not wan to write as by more.

Fantastic hotel with an epic restaurant. Location and service are both fantastic and the staff make you feel welcome. The room was comfortable and had a great time. Feeling away from the hectic daily life.

A one night stay on the way home so we were unable to use the hotel to its best. However the room size (third floor) was very disappointing as there was no outside space. The staff here were superb and made sure we were warmly welcomed and looked after. We didn't eat in the hotel so cant comment on the quality of meals. We paid full price for the stay so it was an expensive stopover. But lovely hotel and grounds.
