Compared to the prices of the other places in Lodi, on a Memorial Day weekend, this really was an Econo Lodge; a basic place with a fridge and microwave.
I would stay there again.
There was breakfast provided this year, but it really wasn’t worth having …Froot Loops, Rice Krispies, bread,(no jam) pastries, Cuties and only coffee to drink. The first day I had to ask for the coffee to be refilled, and on my last day they were out of milk (until the manager arrives) but there is a coffee and doughnut shop across the road and a Burger King nearby.
Last year, I (and the staff) had problems unlocking my door. This year they had installed new locks on all the rooms. Yeah!
The pool (and hot tub) were heated, but unfortunately they are only open at 9am -9pm so I didn’t have time for a swim before leaving for a special event.
The ice machine is located in a room with the guest laundry, and the room gets locked up at 9pm….so be prepared!
I complained about the irritating noise my fridge was making..and they said the hotel was fully booked and they couldn’t change it out but I did finally get a different fridge the next day.
The towels were beautifully white, but I used one to mop water off the dark wood floor and quickly found out how much dirt the floors concealed!
Housekeeping is by request only, before 11am.
