Bentley London

Kensington London|2.05km from West London College
This was our first visit to this hotel. Since most of the cheaper 4 & 5 star hotels seem to have doubled their cheapest rates since Covid The Bentley seemed more reasonable. The reception was a bit disorganised with odd desks dotted around the ground floor but the staff were responsive polite and helpful. They did offer to take my overnight case to the room which I declined. But they shouldn’t of offered they should just have done it. I had reserved a King-sized room but they upgraded me to a suite. This was very nice suite, particularly large for central London. It was all outfitted in a luxurious way. I don’t know what the rate for this room would normally be but for the price I was paying(£359) it was very good value. My 2 main complaints of my stay were: the separate walk-in shower’s thermometer wasn’t working so not possible to use the first night. Very bad. Also, on the deal I booked it included breakfast. My wife and I wanted to have breakfast in our room, expecting to have to pay the ‘tray’ charge of £5 each. When the breakfast didn’t arrive for when ordered the next morning, my wife rang Roomservice. They told us we would have to pay fully to eat in our room. At this point I would normally have spoken to the manager and asked him what on earth was going on. But as luck would have it I was running late for a medical appointment and didn’t have the time. So we just cancelled breakfast and left with a bitter taste of being short changed 2 breakfasts. Conclusion-not sure, to be honest. Will possibly try again/

Viridian Apartments in West Kensington Serviced Apartments - Barons Court

This is a cosy & comfortable small apartment at a super convenient location. However, since the two bedrooms at the back are close to the rail line, light sleepers may not be able to sleep well.
The W14 Kensington

Great place to stay for 1-2 nights. It's located in a quiet neighborhood and only a short walking distance from the tube. I liked how spacious the bathroom was and that the room, also quite big, warmed up very quickly upon turning on the AC. The breakfast room was bright and airy, the selection available was very basic though and the coffee could have been better.
St Paul's Hotel

Me and my husband arrived St Paul’s hotel and we were very lucky to encounter the receptionist named Mario at the desk, which he really made a perfect first impression for our trip… He accommodated us really quickly, with a smooth check in process and a very funny conversation.. He was really helpful offering us to take our luggage to the room as well as highlighting that if we needed anything he would be there(We actually needed a converter and an extra towel, which he very promptly brought to the room) Not a complaint but just another the girl in the reception needs more training as she did not feel very confident on giving us some info for the area around the hotel and looked really stressed.. Generally everyone was so nice and we definitely planning on coming back to have another unforgettable experience in the St pauls hotel.
Novotel London West

This hotel was perfect;y placed for my visit to Hammersmith as well as central London. Easy to get to along the Piccadilly line, 10 mins to Hyde Park corner and 20 mins from Kings Cross. This is one of the larger Novotel hotels but the amenities are even greater and all the familiar comforts of this chain of hotels was there to enjoy. Very pleased with my choice especially the price given it isn’t right in the centre.

The staff were very friendly. Reception was open 24/7 and there was someone always there when we needed anything - rooms were tidy and clean. Location was convenient as you can access many shops and the tube.
