We booked to stay at the hotel with it being the sub brand of Sheraton hotels. The location was fairly central to the show we were going to see in London.
On our way we contacted the hotel to see if an earlier check in would be possible and was told that they would try their best to accommodate. On arrival we was told that check in was 3pm and no earlier so we opted to drop our bags off and come back later.
The twin room we booked we were given however the floor was wet on arrival, we assumed this was due to it having been mopped so dried it and got on with our day. Later on the room floor was wet again and when stood on made a squelching sound so a leak was apparent. We informed reception who was going to look into this while we went out.
On arrival back to the hotel the floor was still wet to on contacting reception again we were moved to a different room. The room was adequately clean but not pristine as there was a lot of dust in the bedroom area and a lot of mould in the bathroom around the shower area. At the point of discovering this it was almost midnight so we chose to just get on with the stay as housekeeping would have gone home for the evening so nothing would be done and we didn’t want to move rooms again.
Once we got into bed we found the bedding quality to be subpar with the sheets being really thin and the duvet and pillows feeling to be of cheap synthetic quality. We really didn’t sleep well.
For the inconvenience of the room change we was given a later check out of 12 instead of 11.
