We have been staying at Marlyn Lodge for over 20 years. It not only has a convenient location but it is always clean, quiet and comfortable.

Finding a room in London that has enough space for a family is normally hard. Marlyn Lodge solved that issue. The one bedroom superior we booked has a bedroom, living room, kitchen, bathroom. The layout is perfect. The living room has a fold out bed that my daughter said was quite comfortable. The bedroom and living room both have closing doors. Basically it operated as a two bedroom. There is also a washer/dryer combin in the room, so you can do laundry while you are there. There is a Tesco Express around the corner, so you can grab any groceries you need and keep them in the kitchen. The location is close to the Tower Hill underground station (District and Circle Line), Aldgate (Circle and Metropolitan Line) and the Tower Gateway Train line. You can guess from the Tower Hill underground station, it's buy the Tower of London and the Tower Bridge. The room was clean. I didn't expect them to make up the room during the week we were there but they did. Lots of pros, here are the few cons. It's an apartment building, so there isn't an attendent there all night. Only one key was provided, so we had to work around that. We didn't try writing to see if they could leave us another, so it wasn't too bad. With the price and location, I expect if I go back, I will be staying there again.

Location was great. Short walk to Tower of London. Nearby St Katherine Docks is nice to walk around and has lots of interesting restaurants. Short walk to Aldgate and Tower Hill underground stations. The #15 bus takes you to West End theaters and Trafalgar Square. Building felt safe and well-maintained. My one-bedroom apartment was comfortable and clean. Instructions that were sent in email were clear and easy to follow. No issues. Highly recommend.

Location: Was great, very close to Tower bridge (8min walk), very close to underground station (6min walk). Breakfast at Wetherspoon (1min walk) Accommodation: very neat, very clean, bedding was crisp. Inside the apartment a lot of renovation has been done to ensure upkeep of the place. Apartment well sealed to keep the cold out. Lots of new stuff inside the apartment. Check in process: self check in and self check out. Quick and easy

We loved staying at Marlyn lodge. The apartment was spacious and bright and comfortable. The kitchen was fully equipped. The washer / dryer worked perfectly. The bed was very comfortable. We really appreciated having two couches so we could relax after long days of sightseeing. The building felt secure. It was great having a lift to take our luggage up and down. There was plenty of wardrobe space and coat hangers , and the bed was on legs so we could slide our suitcases underneath and keep the place looking tidy. Transport and a mini supermarket were nearby, and we were also within walking distance of key tourist attractions such as the Tower and St Paul’s and an easy train or bus ride everywhere else. I was amazed at how quiet the apartment and neighbourhood were, as I had been expecting to experience city and traffic noise, but there was virtually none. We could not get the hang of how to get the heaters to work, so it would be helpful if some instructions were left in the apartment. We look forward to staying here again on a future trip to London.
