Ibis London Excel-Docklands

The location is fantastic and easy to find using public transport. However, we had to get a room change due to an unbearable stench. Then in the second room which was better also had the same stench but not as bad. With jet lag we decided to bear it. We then showered which leaked all over the place as it cannot be adjusted- like the hose had been replaced but did not fit the original. This meant uncomfortably showering at an angle to reduce leakage. We also found a pink toe nail in the shower. Honestly it is so disappointing. I wanted to feed back when checking out when we were asked ‘how was your stay’ however as we had prepaid they did not ask and nor were they interested. Shame. I took a video of the shower in action.

The toilet was a bit smelly. Staff are friendly. Location is a bit far.

Walking distance from the tube station and in a safe area. Decent sized room and good ammenities. The rooms were clean & tidy. No complaints!

Friendly staff, the location was perfect. Very close to the Excel and can also access The O2 using different types of transport (uber/taxi, tube, Cloud Cable Car).
