Reviews of Ibis Styles London Gloucester Road

The hotel is about a 3-minute walk from Gloucester Road Station. The photo shows the exterior of the hotel. There's a convenience store right next to the hotel, open even at midnight, so we could easily buy food and drinks. There were also many restaurants nearby, so we had no trouble finding places to eat. Access to various tourist spots was good, and the area felt safe. The hotel reception staff were very pleasant. They were kind and accommodating, even though we spoke very little English. The room wasn't particularly spacious, but we managed to get by with two week-long suitcases spread out. The cleanliness was comparable to a city hotel in Japan. Since our plan didn't include meals, I can't comment on the dining experience. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next trip to London.

Spacious room! Underground station and musuems just around the corner. The train station is also direct line to the airport which is convenient

The room was clean, spacious, and bright. Plus, the location was really great!

Terrible ! The smell of the toilet pipes kept me up all night . Left first thing in the morning . The room is tiny although ive booked the best one they have . The receptionist lacks th minimal tact skills . I dont recommend  at all!!! Avoid

Hotel room tidy and clean. Easily accessible to Gloucester station, just opposite to the hotel. A lot of fast food and restaurants nearby.

Brilliant location at a fair price. Our room had a private outside seating area which was ideal for us to catch up not sitting in room or foyer. Clean and well equipped room with a comfortable bed

The room is room, but it is London we are talking about. I chose this hotel mostly because of it's convenience to Gloucester Road tube station which has 3 tube lines going pass- District/Circle/Piccadilly. It is in a nice neighbourhood and is close to Sainsbury's supermarket. The only thing not good is the staircase to climb to reach the reception.

It was just okay. The room had no windows, and there were two doors at the entrance, which was strange and inconvenient when pushing a large suitcase.

Stayed for 3 nights with my mum in 2 rooms, I requested side by side or same floor rooms when I made the booking 3 months ago, however they put mum on ground floor and me in the basement. My mum’s room was terrible, smelt like damp wet carpet, it was tiny, dark and had no airflow. The bathroom was oddly located outside of the room through another door. My room was opposite a large storage space and next to the breakfast room. The noise from guests in neighbouring rooms, breakfast room in the morning, staff going in and out of store room and the constant sound from underground train every few minutes was quite unbearable. Even though I booked the same room type my room was much larger and better configured than the one my mum got. The place was a maze, the room numbering made no sense and we were forever getting lost. Staff were polite but definitely not service professionals and it was obvious that none of them wanted to be there. The only plus was location location location!!

Convenient transportation, the room is not big but comfortable, the breakfast is good, the service staff are very friendly, I stayed here for 5 nights this time, the experience was very good, I would like to stay here again next time I come to London

The room was very clean and hygienic, and the service was satisfactory.

Great location, near park, near subway, near Museum Good service, lovely staff, helpful, informative

The room is clean and the bathroom is large and good. However, the room is a bit small because it is a corner room. However, the location is good. It is very close to the subway station. There are supermarkets and shops nearby, which is very convenient.

The location is very good and the room size is bigger than other hotels.
