Park Plaza County Hall London

Avoid this place!!! Out of all the hotels we stayed at during our 2-week trip to the UK, this one had the worst service. The front desk staff was absolutely discriminatory towards Asians. We checked in on the 30th for three days, bringing our child to see the New Year's Eve fireworks. We booked a London Eye view room. When we arrived at 2:38 PM, they said the room wasn't ready and told us to come back later. Fine, we waited until after 3 PM. Then they claimed we hadn't informed them we had a child, giving us a hard time, even though we had communicated this through Ctrip. The room they eventually gave us was the worst London Eye view room possible (as pictured, my view was significantly obstructed by the building on the right). I asked the front desk if there were any other rooms, even if it meant changing rooms the next day, and they said everything was full. However, first, I saw similar room types still available for booking on Ctrip, and second, on the evening of the 31st at 8 PM, I saw someone checking into the room next to mine, which had a much better view. All in all, I recommend avoiding this hotel.

Great location, right by Waterloo Station and close to the London Eye. We stayed in a room with a view, and you could see the London Eye right from the bed. The room itself was also quite spacious.

The location is absolutely superb! It's just a short walk to Big Ben and the London Eye. The only slight drawback is that the room is a bit small. However, considering everything, I think it offers good value for money. I would definitely stay here again on future trips. The hotel service was decent, and the breakfast was a typical English breakfast.
