Reviews of Holiday Inn London - Whitechapel, an IHG Hotel

Came to holiday inn Whitechapel with my mother and sister and it was pleasant. We were too early to check in but the receptionist came to us the minute our room was ready. The lounge area had a mini Starbucks and a buffet area. They also had a couch with a flat screen tv for those who are too early to check in. They took our bags to the back room while we waited. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable and had everything we would need for two nights. The only negative I would say would be the sofa bed is a bit uncomfortable but if you’re staying for short term it’s really handy for just resting your eyes. The room was spotless and the location is amazing. There’s a Tesco and saintburys nearby if you wanted to bring drinks and snacks back to the room. Will gladly be coming back here. The location is amazing too and only a 10 min walk to the train station and in the centre of many popular attractions that are only a few stops away.

The highlight of this stay, for me, was the coziness of the bed and the breakfast options. The bed was so soft; it was like I was being hugged after a long day of sightseeing. The breakfast was good and the attendants in the restaurant were very helpful.

Location was very good. Near bus stops, supermarkets, food and restaurants. Room was quite spacious and the most glaring omission is a fridge in the room. Otherwise it would have been perfect. Bathroom is spacious and everything works. Front desk staff were nice and friendly, check in and out was good. Recommended.

Whitechapel station walk to hotel around 10 mins. But the hotel and Whitechpel area a bit old.  Also,  go to the Tottenham Court Road station from Whitechapel only 3 stations very fast.

Amazing experience at this wonderful hotel. The staff is very friendly and they my trip much better. Highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

Room size is good, location is decent but could be better. Overall not too bad, bed is a little soft though.

Location: Convenient for bus users with bus stops very close to the hotel. The train from Shadwell is easier to access (7 mins walk) than WC, and it transfers at Bank station, providing connections to multiple metro lines. Room: Generally clean but lacked a refrigerator, requiring you to store food items on the dressing table. The bathtub was a little slippery even with the rubber mat, so caution is advised and the toilet did not have a bidet. Breakfast: Good quality, but there was an issue with some patrons using the wrong tongs for different food items, which could be a concern for Muslim guests. Staff: Friendly and helpful, with a special mention of Flor for her cheerful morning greetings. Overall it was definitely a pleasant stay

It is a wonderful place, except there is no tube near by. However the bus there can link up to a lot of place

The hotel was very crowded so especially at breakfast it was hard to move in the buffet. The day we left we couldn't be seated which meant we left late and missed our train from Victoria station. The staff tried very hard but there weren't enough. We had to ask for the room to be cleaned at one point.

Manager was helpful overall ok hotel

Clean and comfortable hotel with good service. Local is satisfactory.

Decent Breakfast, Had the Steak and Ale pie in the Evening it was excellent. It's quite a lively area but it's fairly central 10 min walk to the nearest Tube Station
