The appearance of the hotel is a bit old, but it is considerate, well-equipped, and there are many plugs, which are convenient for charging. There are two bottles of water, one is sparkling water and the other is distilled water. There is a fan and the toilet is very windy. Water pressure is also strong. There is also Jiawan, and the room area is larger than other hotels of the same level. The best location is convenient, and it is convenient to take Eurostar/underground. There are also shopping and dining stores nearby, and the price ratio is very high.

Very clean, efficient room - would have been tight for more than 1 person. LOTS of STEEEEP stairs.

The receptionist was unfriendly & unwelcoming. The room was very cold & I had to wear my fleece over my winter pjs to get warm. We were on the 3rd floor & the stairs were narrow, so it was difficult to take a big suitcase up & down the stairs. I’m 67ins/170cms tall & my knees touched the door when sitting on the toilet, so it was pretty small.
The only good thing about it is the location, only 5 min walk to King’s Cross/St Pancras.

Tiny rooms like most places in London, but an excellent stay in every regard. Wonderful location very near King’s Cross and St. Pancras stations, so great if you are arriving late.

Solid little hotel right across the street from St Panera subway and LNER train station. Super convenient for restaurants and my son found a rock climbing (bouldering) gym within 20 minutes walk. Clean little rooms. A bit of light in the rooms, but otherwise fine and a very good value.

The hotel is conveniently placed near King's Cross station, just 2 minutes on foot from the underground exit.
The hotel common areas are clean and so are the rooms.
The rooms are very small, with limited to no space to even open luggages but apart from that everything worked out great: clean bedsheets, clean towels (changed every day), free water, cookies and tea.
One major downside was the really really poor sound insulation of the room (we were able to distinctly hear people from the adjacent rooms and even people sneezing in the street).
Overall, for a 2 star hotel I'd consider the Crestfield a quite good compromise of cost and quality of stay.

Reasonably placed for being close to Kings Cross and St. Pancras as just over the road. Friendly receptionist. Checked in on line before arrival. Smooth checking in. Room was compact but comfy and had tea and coffee facilities. Was very quiet in room. Would recommend this hotel. Reasonably priced too.
