Location: Multiple users mentioned the hotel's proximity to subway stations, such as being really close to the tube station and being a short walk from the metro with a few stops to the city center

Budget accommodation at its worst! Four days in a row, our room hasn’t been cleaned. We don’t expect the ritz but fresh towels, toilet paper and clean mugs would be appreciated! The mattress is so old, it creaks and we wake up with sore necks and backs. Wifi service is non existent. Your customer service is also terrible. A smile never hurt anyone!

Honestly one of the worst hotel experiences I've had in any country across a number of decades. Start off with the stairs to the room - uneven, unclear, the carpet moves with you and carrying luggage up them would constitute as a form of torture in some cultures. Once at the room - met with a door handle which was hanging off before even getting in. Good start right? Once in, there's a double bed and a toilet, but that's about it. With two adults in it and luggage, you can't move around freely unless the other person is on the bed. The bed itself is held up (barely) with random scrap wood. The mattress is not so much a mattress, just an assortment of uncomfortably placed springs which somehow snuggle in between each of your ribs during the night. The pillows are just really thick pillow cases filled with ambitious thoughts, the duvet had a stain of unknown and concerning origin. Directly above the bed there's an attack hatch which, quite honestly, had me thinking I was 20 minutes into a low budget 90s horror movie, there were gaps throughout it which definitely didn't help the temperature during the night. Nowhere near the advertisements does it state that one side of the building is adjacent to a railway line, meaning you feel every rumble until around 2am. You can shut the window though, just not to any level of use. The final thought - I write this as I sit in M&S Cafe, with a newfound appreciation for a non-penetrated ribcase, although each and every part of my body aches. Not only is this beyond basic, it's under kept, outdated, overpriced (yes, it's in a superb area but there's homeless people sleeping better tonight) and quite brutally miserable. If you are considering a stay here, please look to spend the extra £10 or so per night and stay somewhere else. This place should be condemned.

wow ok... so the hotel was possibly the dirtiest hotel i've ever stayed in, there was damp patches on the wall the bathroom was filthy ( i've got the pictures to prove this), the wifi didn't workoilet hadn't been cleaned in so long it actually had calcium stains on it, the walls had stains up them and the ceiling had big brown patches on it. The room was reminiscent of properties from trainspotting infact the scene where tommy died in the room looked more comfortable and clean.. room keeping was non excitant, i asked for an iron and was told we don't have one, stupid question really i was surprised they had wired in electricity. The staff were rude but rude to the point where i thought they maybe knew me and i had offended them in a past life or something... if London wasn't so expensive i would have turned and walked out after one night, i spent as little time as possible there over my three day stay. Bedding was clean to be fair but the mattress was older than me and so uncomfortable. They have signs all around the room for example if you get the bathroom floor wet from the shower it's a 500 quid fine however the shower head was hanging off it was like some kind of squid game challenge not get the floor wet , again highlighted to the reception staff but this woman obviously worked reception at a correctional facility and didn't seem to sympathetic.

Where do I start! First room I was put in was absolutely filthy and stunk, the floor was sticky the toilet was dirty and stained with dry urine the shower had dry grime all around the basin and the room had mould and dust everywhere this was definitely the worst room I have ever stayed in. I complained to reception and they informed me they couldn’t help as they have no other rooms but after 20 mins of refusing to stay in it they eventually agreed to give me another room. The second room was just about passable although the carpet desperately needed a hoover there was used soap in the shower from the previous guests we could feel every bed spring poking through the mattress and the radiator was stuck on full heat with no knob to turn it down making the small room very hot. I definitely won’t be using this hotel again, I know the hotel was one of the cheapest in the area and I can put up with cosmetic issues like cracked walls and ripped carpet etc but there’s no excuse to not clean a room before the guests arrive, I will definitely be spending more on a room next time we come.

I knew about the bad reviews but thought i would give it a go.........what a mistake....to be honest the room g3 ground floor was ok a bit dated but clean.....But here we go hardly any sleep all night due the the noise of the constant trains plus noise which was loads from the other rooms above and side to side. The walls are so thin you can hear everything and i mean everything . it was really bad i mean really bad and got little to no sleep

We experienced dealing with this hotel as we missed our train (Marylebone). Our booking was accepted by *********** around 10:30 pm and when we went to the hotel, it was a minute past 11 pm so we were instructed to collect the keys from Cromwell International which looked under renovation, it utterly surprising to see (unhappy) customers there. The receptionist asked us to wait. We were tired and hungry at that time. After almost half an hour, we were told that Earls Court Gardens Hotel was fully booked blaming ***********. I was surprised that such incident could happen aside from hearing their reason nearly midnight. Why in the first place did they not know that *********** accepted bookings even when they were fully booked already. But my issue is the time, why did the receptionist not tell us the soonest when they knew the problem rather than telling us to sit in their dirty looking couch at Cromwell International. We could have booked already somewhere. If they haven’t accepted our booking as they were fully booked, I should have not spent time and money going to their hotel. But I am so grateful that they were fully booked as I read the reviews of their dingy hotel, I could have been scammed and traumatised. It was a blessing in disguise cos we were able to book a very comfortable hotel just a minute before midnight (quite pricy) but our wellbeing is more important than money. Then come Monday, I received an email saying it was a no show and that I will be charged. Luckily, I took a photo of Earls Court Gardens Hotel door which is my proof that we have been there. I feel so sorry for the travellers who have had stayed in this hotel and felt so unhappy after their stay here. God is still good to us for saving us from this filthy hotel. I saw the photos on the reviews. I can’t believe why they are still on ***********. I think they know somebody in there whom they were talking with when they told us to wait. Anyway, avoid this hotel including Cromwell International.

Wouldn’t really know where to start.. We were sent down to the basement outside of the main hotel building down some steep metal stairs which would be dangerous if it had been raining. The building itself didn’t feel secure, the room was way too hot. There were no windows with any views just a tiny window above a frosted glass door which we opened for ventilation purposes (didn’t make the room temp any cooler) plus we had no idea where the door lead to so we didn’t dare open it.. The floorboards were coming away from the floor, there was black mould in the shower, the sink was a tiny rectangle shape so whenever we’d wash our hands or brush our teeth the bathroom floor would end up soaked with water. We had one pillow each which were flatter than pancakes and made it impossible to sleep on (ended up sleeping on one of my jumpers folded up). The mattress was hard and had crumbs and other bits underneath the bedsheets. There were people talking loudly on phones right outside the hotel room door and also the back door which sounded outdoors somewhere. Could also hear the underground trains all night as it’s at the bottom of the road. Only slept a few hours as the room was just so uncomfortable, the only good thing about it is the location as it’s handy being close to Earl’s Court underground.
