Marylebone Apartments

Terrible experience. There was black mold in the bathroom that was so severe we had to wear masks due to constant coughing. The room had extremely poor ventilation and was hot and humid, despite mild weather outside — likely contributing to the mold problem. We contacted customer service because we couldn’t sleep due to the coughing and needed to relocate to another hotel. Instead of immediate help, we were told to fill out a Google form and wait up to 10 days for a response regarding a refund. Another guest also mentioned mold in their room, suggesting this is a larger, building-wide issue that needs urgent remediation. We’re still waiting to hear back. Avoid this place at all costs!

Poor state of cleanliness and repair, floor boards in the apartment above squeaked so badly you could hear every footstep, the tiniest bathroom ever … think en-suite but smaller and no wi-fi, or certainly no password despite this being advertised.

We booked the apartment 3 , the location was convenient. However we hadn’t anticipated being kept awake between 3 and 4.30 by people above , floorboards were very noisy too! The only bedside lamp for the double bed was not working . I’d booked for three people , phoned the owner to confirm 3 beforehand and he confirmed the sofabed would be made up . We arrived at 10pm, the sofabed was not made up . This was stressful , the owner was very unhelpful, indifferent and cocky !
