In general, the room felt like it lacked maintenance: lots of dust, curtain was semi-broken, the shower curtain was very old and the bathroom smelled like pee. Could not lock the door from the inside which also lead to not feeling super safe when sleeping. Hot water and pressure was ok and AC in the room. Staff was friendly but can unfortunately not outweigh the overall experience. Would not stay here again

Good: Close to Paddington station, Staffs are nice, Spacious enough for a solo traveller
Bad: Old-fashioned furnishings, Shower space just separated by a thin curtain and often made the whole floor of the toilet wet

Single room extremely small but all suitable for one night stay would not recommend longer stay. Location to Paddington station excellent and cafes, bars restaurants good.

The hotel rooms do not match with photo. The shower is not working properly, the toilet is tiny, the room is old.

Overall the hotel is rather old and it requires a lot of staircase and walking through many doors to arrive the room at so-called ground floor, which appears to me as semi-basement. Space is very limited as a family room.
Positive thing is it's convenient to Paddington station with plenty choice of restaurants.

The conditions are quite complete, but the room size is a bit small and the surroundings are a bit noisy. In addition, the air conditioner does not work well and cannot be cooled when the weather is hot. The bathroom is not very clean and the toilet is easily clogged.
