Nice hotel，staff are friendly and helpful. Very central location inLondon, easy access to underground station and British museum. But the alley next to the hotel can be kind of sketchy during the night time. I understand that is nothing the hotel can do, it is more like a London public safety thing. but I do want to remind people who want to stay at this hotel to be careful especially at the night time and avoid the alley, best to just use the main road as the access point.

We were in London just for a few days to catch a couple of shows and enjoy a little break away. Booked the Bloomsbury as it looked nice. Importantly it was well located within walking distance of many sights and close to an underground station for wider exploration. The public areas were very comfortable beautifully decorated, cosy and, more traditional places to chill and relax rather than, minimalist and ultra modern. There was an open air, but sheltered veranda dining area at the front of the hotel. The breakfast was served in the main dining room, the full “Irish” was very generous, but there were options for all tastes and preferences. On the floor above was a comfy bar for cocktails and an excellent bar meal. There was always space with a friendly atmosphere, the perfect spot for a night cap after a busy day. We stayed in a standard king room which had plenty of space for our needs, the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom, if compact, was really well layed out and had a full size bath. Everywhere was spotless. I don’t think there was a fitness spa or pool so if those are key for you it may not suit. But it’s a lovely friendly, comfortable hotel for a short to medium stay in London. Excellent location, cleanliness and service. Everything with perfect.

They added a child bed without any notice or request, and charged an extra 50 pounds per night! The deluxe king-size bed room we originally booked was fine for three people! When we checked in, they just asked us to pay a deposit, and when we checked out, they said that the child room was exactly 50 per night! Bad review!

The location is very convenient and the bed is very comfortable

The bed is movable... not very convenient, but the hygiene and location are very good
