OYO Abbey Hotel, London Shepherd's Bush Market

First of all we paid for breakfast with Trip.com only to be told on arrival that that option is no longer available. Our room was very basic and small. We did have a kettle, coffee and tea were provided. The bed was firm but ok. The Westfield mall was opposite and the TV studios at Shepherds Bush was a short walk just up the road as was the underground WOOD LANE on the circle line via Euston station. Overall the location for our needs was great however not having the breakfast that was advertised on TRIP.COM was a letdown.So minus marks and a big boo for that Trip.com

Ideal for a solo traveller staying for a night or 2. I stayed as I was watching a show at the shepards bush Apollo and it couldn't really be closer. The room was small, but decent value for the price. Really helpful staff with an easy checking in and out system.

Cons: - The hotel and rooms are small - The interior and furniture are quite worn out - The bed linen was soiled. The bathroom was also dirty - There is no lift in the hotel. Meanwhile, the staircase is narrow. The hotel is definitely not suitable for people with disabilities. We had to lift our luggage up the stairs manually Pros: - Great location. Huge Westfield shopping centre a couple of minutes walk away, as well as the tube station. Lots of pubs and restaurants nearby - Good value for money - Beautiful view from the window - Polite staff who helped lift suitcases to our floor Overall, it is a good hotel for its price and is perfect for a short stay. However, the interior and furniture definitely need to be freshened up

We booked two rooms for a night's stay in London. We made the reservation over the phone and Reservation staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were basic but with all essential amenities. Check-in and out was easy. Hotel is well located with connections to public transportation. Really woth to the amount paid.

Pro: 1. the location is very good (few minutes away from the central line) 2. the staff are friendly. Con: 1. the staff is not always reachable (Try to contact the front desk around from 1900 to 2000, but no one answer the phone) and difficult to reach (the phone number in Google map is not the front desk’s number) 2. we booked a room for two people but they only offered one key. 3. The bathroom is very tiny, cannot even turn around 4. The bathroom use motion detector switches, therefore it is possible that the light would turn off itself when you are still using the bathroom or the light would no turn on when you enter 5. The bathroom is a little bit dirty, there are mould. 6. The bathroom has no place to hold your clean clothes or towels, there is no hook or handle. 7. The room is not fully clean when I first moved in, there is water in the kettle, there is hair on the bed, there is rubbish beside the bin 8. The Wi-Fi service is horrible, it is not stable, you may disconnect when you are using it and sometimes you cannot even found it. 9. The room is a little bit small, cannot fully open my suitcase. 10. The TV is a 24 inches monitor with cable which does not fit the description in their website. 11. The sheets, quilts, pillows, all the bedding have stains on it, not so sure they are clean or not. 12. Even the sign on the door is not stick accurately 13. A pleasant terraced hotel, good sized twin room and comfortable beds. All the essentials, with no frills. Very convenient for all amenities. Enjoyed our stay.

Very small room not even room for a dresser no air conditioning so very warm no breakfast included no fridge very small bathroom they used to do breakfast but don’t anymore it needs a big overhaul getting very worn. You can hear nice from room above.

The room was below a creaking upstairs room. Loud voices could be heard. The bathroom light went off as you were in the shower. On a timer I think.
