Das Islington Inn liegt etwas außerhalb, jedoch gut mit der UBahn und mit dem Bus zu erreichen.
Die Portiers waren sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Check-In und Out unkompliziert. Gepäck konnte problemlos noch nach dem Check Out gelagert werden. 
Das Hotel ist stilvoll, wenn auch etwas alt. Schiefe Böden & Holzdielen inklusive. Bad war renoviert. Alles in allem ein toller Aufenthalt gewesen :-)

The Islington Inn is a bit out of the way, but easily accessible by tube and bus.
The porters were very nice and helpful. Check-in and out uncomplicated. Luggage could easily be stored after check-out.
The hotel is stylish if a bit dated. Sloping floors & wooden floorboards included. Bathroom was renovated. All in all it was a great stay :-)

Booked with friends and then read the reviews ! Some are awful so we arrived with much trepidation. We were met by a very cheerful and polite man who had all our details to hand and checked us in very quickly. Yes the rooms are basic and a little tired , but we had crisp clean bedding, the bathroom had a lovely fresh just cleaned smell and was sparking clean with lovely new white towels. The beds were comfy , there was a kettle with tea, coffee milk and sugar available.  The rooms were very warm , but each had a large pedestal fan to combat this .  We were next to the road on the ground floor but heard no major noises and weren’t disturbed. All in all a good stay , central to where we were visiting , and will definitely use again

The Islington Inn is certainly a budget option but even so it's expensive for what you get! My overall experience was really disappointing. The room was so small and the bathroom even smaller. The beds were very uncomfortable.  We were not told about or offered a free breakfast and it was not obvious that there was an area to eat. There were no other amenities in the hotel, extremely basic. The pictures on their website are very misleading, they must have been taken a long time ago when the hotel operated as a hotel but now it feels more like a hostel.  I would not recommend and will not return.
