The Old Langan's Hotel is almost impeccable. They restock capsule coffee and tea bags daily, and all the necessary amenities are provided. They also deliver two small bottles of milk every day. The breakfast selection is quite extensive, and for breakfast beverages like tea or coffee, a server takes your order. The room cleaning is also very thorough, and they even provide disposable slippers (which is uncommon in the UK). The bathroom is large, but the bathtub is surprisingly small, making showering a bit cramped. The room service is also very fast, and the front desk staff are very polite. The doormen actively offer to help with luggage. The hotel is right by a subway station, and across the street at Russell Square, there are even small squirrels. It's only a ten-minute walk to the back entrance of the British Museum. Extremely satisfied.

Great location, and the room was very clean upon arrival. However, I booked a room on the fourth floor and there's no elevator, so you can only take it up to the third floor, which was a minor inconvenience. The staff were very responsive and helpful too! 👍 I visited London during a heatwave, so having air conditioning in the room was a lifesaver! The fridge and kitchenette were perfectly adequate for preparing simple meals. Overall, it's definitely worth another visit! 😀

This hotel has an excellent location, very close to Russell Square tube station, and there's a Tesco Express next door. It's also a 10-minute walk to King's Cross, St Pancras, and Euston stations, which is super convenient for anyone needing to catch UK domestic trains or Eurostar. I really wanted to book this hotel on my last visit to London, but couldn't get a room in this type, so I was thrilled to finally get it this time. The room is perfect for families with children; the main bed is large enough, and the sofa bed is quite spacious when opened. Complimentary drinks, bottled water, and snacks are provided daily. Christina at the front desk was incredibly helpful and sorted out a breakfast issue caused by a communication mix-up with the booking platform. Huge thanks to her for her assistance!

The room was tidy, clean, and quiet. The breakfast spread was excellent, and the overall environment was very pleasant. It's located in London's West End, right next to the British Museum, with Holborn tube station, many restaurants, supermarkets, and souvenir shops nearby. I'd definitely choose this place again on my next trip to London.

The location is very good, close to the main campus of ucl, travel is very convenient, the front desk staff is also very warm and friendly. But the hotel is old and slightly old as a whole.

Give me a special room, outside the window is the building, the bathroom is in a corner. I asked to change the room and change to a normal layout of the road, two windows of the room. The first floor is cold, if you can carry luggage, ask for the location upstairs. The first floor is breakfast, you have to find the waiter order to order. btw location is very good, it is very convenient to go to the British Museum, walk for five minutes, various cafes nearby

The hotel's location is excellent. It's a 15-minute walk to the British Museum and a 10-minute walk to St Pancras and King's Cross stations. There are multiple subway lines/stations nearby, and a 24-hour Tesco Express is right across from Euston station. There are also many Chinese and Asian restaurants in the vicinity, offering plenty of dining options. The corner rooms are quite spacious, which is great for unpacking luggage after a long trip. The church bells nearby pause between 10 PM and 7 AM, then chime promptly at 7 AM, serving as an excellent wake-up call. The curtains in the top-floor rooms have a lovely British feel. Overall, the room was clean and tidy, with sparkling and still water provided daily. The housekeeping staff were very nice, and the Hilton service standards were definitely met (though due to the limitations of an older building, the facilities can't be directly compared to Hiltons in China). On the downside, the mattress and pillows were quite soft, and the air conditioning wasn't great 😅. There's also a fire station nearby, with emergency vehicles departing at least 2-3 times at night, which might affect light sleepers. However, the area feels safe, it's convenient to get anywhere, and the good value for money makes it a top choice 😊

I was pleasantly surprised. The staff's service was excellent and very friendly. The room for three was more spacious than other accommodations, with good quality sheets and towels, and comfortable beds and pillows. The bathroom was recently renovated, very large and functional. Good breakfast with enough to start the day. We were on the ground floor, however, to get to the room we had to go through a basement and then climb back up, all via narrow stairs. In summary, it was a very good stay.

The location is excellent, very close to Euston Station, and King's Cross is just over a ten-minute walk away. My favorite aspect was the powerful air conditioning in the room, which was a huge relief after a hot walk. It was great that the AC didn't require a key card and was already cooling the room when we arrived. Otherwise, things were pretty standard. The room felt quite expensive for what it offered; we paid an average of 2800 per night for our two-night stay, which felt steep. There were no notable facilities or amenities.

Lovely, central hotel within easy walk of central London. Lovely buffet breakfast and friendly staff. Bedrooms comfortable and perfect as a base. My only criticism would be the very strong smelling air fresher used in the entrance/reception area which was too strong and synthetic smelling.
