We had a wonderful stay in Dazhai. The owners of the hotel were very friendly and helpful. It has a nice and quiet location (near a viewpoint) and is ideal to start your hike to Ping’An from here. The room has a beautiful view on the rice terraces. Keep in mind that you have to do some stairs to arrive at the hotel (the luggage comes upstairs with a special system). We also ate here a few times and the food was really delicious.

Lovely people and stay! It is a little bit basic, but definitely worth the money! Do not go here if you are unable to walk up a hill, because its a 5 min walk from the road to their stay.

The room can be big and tidy, but it is at the top of the mountain and requires a long walk. The scenery on the mountain is very good, and the service from the landlady is warm and thoughtful.

It is very close to the No. 2 Observation Deck. After watching the sunset, it takes less than 10 minutes to walk down after dark. The landlady is very welcoming. She even upgraded the room with a 180-degree panoramic view. You can also see the fireworks from the top of the Golden Buddha at night🎆
