There are a lot of good things about this hotel but one bad one: location. We were passing through Lopburi and stayed just one night, intending to take in the key sites and move on. In hindsight, I should have done my homework a bit better… On the positive side, the rooms are big and clean and the whole complex is quite large. In fact, there is a football field-sized lawn in front of the hotel so very quiet. There is also a 7-11 at the hotel driveway entrance. I found the breakfast good too. Now for the negatives. It’s a 300 baht taxi ride from Lopburi station, far from anything and there is no transport available, only grab bikes. There are a few restaurants within 10 minutes walk but not much really. All the action in Lopburi is far, far away. We were kind of stuck there. The helpful staff booked us private transport back to the station when we checked out (350 baht) but the car broke down and the tourist police drove us the rest of the way. Next time, I’ll stay near the train station. Would advise any readers to do the same.
