Well, in s mall town, please don’t expect international standards and you would be fine. Paid the difference and Upgraded our room to the rain shower one. Because the bathroom is something that is important for my children. The initial rooms that I booked (my mistake, I didn’t specify nor realize there were a few room types) were simple. But because it faced the setting sun therefore the room was really hot! It’s just for one night, I have no complains. Room is neat, simple, towels were clean (no longer yellowish if you read the reviews in 2016) Best is tesco is nearby, so we got all our snacks and drinks at the supermarket to help us spend the night.

The Hop Inn Hotel is located at the Thanon Phahon Yothin (Highway 1), so very well accessible. Since near the street, it is unfortunately noisy even at night (rooms on the street side). Negative for room 112, front of the window is a grid roast that will be passed by the cars (water flow), I am very scared at the first time in the shower. The only thing that is offered as a toilet item is the fixed shower gel or shampoo, no soap, shower cap for ladies or ears. Also, the brightness is generally noticed, since no tape is present in the hall. Unfortunately, there is only one side of bed with a desk, a connector and a USB connection. A big-C supercenter near the hotel is where there are sufficient food facilities. The staff was friendly. The price for the room is 600. - THB.

New paint and a new bathroom (now the bathroom is old and becoming dirty) and I would pay 250 b. more per night. No breakfast or fresh food available but BigC is very nearby. Parking space available. At daytime the factory at the back is noisy.

We really enjoyed our stay, the rooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable. The man on reception spoke good English and was very helpful. Yes you do hear the monkeys, but not normally at night and that's why people come to Lopburi in the first place! The baby monkeys are so cute! The hotel's sister property is Noom's Guesthouse and they serve excellent food, including breakfast. The tour that runs to the Bat Cave is well worth doing, as you get to see thousands of bats fly out of the cave; a great experience!

I got my dates mixed up; showed up today while the reservation was for tomorrow. The owner /manger was only too willing to accommodate me. Booked a corner room — bright, cheerfully lit; glass sliding door for the closet — nice touch. Very pleasant decor and functional utilities. If there is one area for improvement, it would be the volume of water (for both the shower and the sink). Checked out the next morning; free coffee and biscuits in the dining area. Forgot to pick up my key deposit (of 200 baht). The manager / owner ran after me as I was almost at the songtheow stop to return my deposit. I was lucky to ride in a van from Mochit driven by a local, who told me about the red songtheow route and dropped me off at one of its stops, after finding where I wanted to go. (I said “Big C” because it was the nearest landmark to KP Place). Then the good man at the hotel; and the next morning, the lady songtheow driver and the railway ticket agent. Lop Buri seemed to be a city of nice people. Please be aware: the red songtheow takes different routes to and from (before and after the train station).

I have had two extended stays at this hotel. My first in 2017, my most recent this past June/July (2019). In 2017, it was still pretty rough, but better than 2019. At least the first time the restaurant downstairs was still open for dinner. This was helpful as there are really no close-by food options. Now, the restaurant is only open for breakfast. The rooms are fairly small and very shabby/dated. Although they are dated, bugs and other pests do not seem to be much of an issue. There are large birds that congregate on the ledges outside and make quite a bit of noise in the mornings. Important to note: this is NOT Bangkok, so the level of English speaking you might be used to is not going to be present here. While levels of English vary among the staff, they are still kind and will do their best to help you. I have never had an unpleasant experience with any of the staff members here. Top up the data package on your cellphone before arriving here as the internet is absolutely terrible. Was terrible in 2017 and terrible again in 2019. There are some random spots where you can connect, like near the elevators or on the first floor, but you can basically kiss a comfortable connection in your room goodbye.

Then when we went to our room, she did not communicate to the team that this room is occupied so the Housekeeper opened our room without knocking! The room was comfortable enough and the linen and towels appeared to be new. The airconditioning and hot water worked well. There was a large refrigerator in the room, typical of Thai apartments. In fact, all the furniture was cheap house-hold stuff. The hotel is perfectly acceptable for a night or two and I might have given it 4 out of 5 on the TripAdvisor scale if it were not for the price. At a walk-in rate of 650 THB (including breakfast), I thought it was slightly overpriced.

Air con and bathroom very serviceable. Bring a toothbrush. Free buffet breakfast with tea and coffee. No complaints. We ate evening meal at a nearby restaurant. Easy walk away across the canal. There is an outdoor swimming pool suitable for relaxation and gentle swimming. Easily reached via the stairwell or lift.

We really enjoyed our stay, the rooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable. The man on reception spoke good English and was very helpful. Yes you do hear the monkeys, but not normally at night and that's why people come to Lopburi in the first place! The baby monkeys are so cute! The hotel's sister property is Noom's Guesthouse and they serve excellent food, including breakfast. The tour that runs to the Bat Cave is well worth doing, as you get to see thousands of bats fly out of the cave; a great experience!

There are two different accommodation options on the property which are owned and operated by the same people. When I arrived late afternoon the bungalows (the resort) were mostly deserted and didn't look all that appealing. The hotel, on the other hand, was rather busy so I opted to stay in it. The hotel is rather basic and utilitarian. A typical Asian style budget hotel, it's set up to accommodate extended-stay guests. The room was comfortable enough and the linen and towels appeared to be new. The airconditioning and hot water worked well. There was a large refrigerator in the room, typical of Thai apartments. In fact, all the furniture was cheap house-hold stuff. The hotel is perfectly acceptable for a night or two and I might have given it 4 out of 5 on the TripAdvisor scale if it were not for the price. At a walk-in rate of 650 THB (including breakfast), I thought it was slightly overpriced.

The Hop Inn Hotel is located at the Thanon Phahon Yothin (Highway 1), so very well accessible. Since near the street, it is unfortunately noisy even at night (rooms on the street side). Negative for room 112, front of the window is a grid roast that will be passed by the cars (water flow), I am very scared at the first time in the shower. The only thing that is offered as a toilet item is the fixed shower gel or shampoo, no soap, shower cap for ladies or ears. Also, the brightness is generally noticed, since no tape is present in the hall. Unfortunately, there is only one side of bed with a desk, a connector and a USB connection. A big-C supercenter near the hotel is where there are sufficient food facilities. The staff was friendly. The price for the room is 600. - THB.

I got my dates mixed up; showed up today while the reservation was for tomorrow. The owner /manger was only too willing to accommodate me. Booked a corner room — bright, cheerfully lit; glass sliding door for the closet — nice touch. Very pleasant decor and functional utilities. If there is one area for improvement, it would be the volume of water (for both the shower and the sink). Checked out the next morning; free coffee and biscuits in the dining area. Forgot to pick up my key deposit (of 200 baht). The manager / owner ran after me as I was almost at the songtheow stop to return my deposit. I was lucky to ride in a van from Mochit driven by a local, who told me about the red songtheow route and dropped me off at one of its stops, after finding where I wanted to go. (I said “Big C” because it was the nearest landmark to KP Place). Then the good man at the hotel; and the next morning, the lady songtheow driver and the railway ticket agent. Lop Buri seemed to be a city of nice people. Please be aware: the red songtheow takes different routes to and from (before and after the train station).

There is an elevator. The size of the room is very wide. Clean bedding The mattress and pillows are soft but firm. Sleep comfortably. The air conditioner is cool and quiet. There is no musty smell. There is a large TV of over fifty inches. The signal is clear. The bathroom is spacious and clean. Separate wet and dry parts. There are two sets of hair towels, soap, shampoo and a hair dryer. Large bathroom vanity mirror Fully visible There is no wardrobe or safe. There is a minibar refrigerator, two 600 ml bottles of drinking water, no electric kettle. Therefore do not give the powder to drink. The hotel provides breakfast including porridge, fried eggs, toast, orange juice, coffee, etc. All in all, it's worth it. Recommended to stay
