DoubleTree by Hilton Properties in Los Angeles

The hotel was absolutely fantastic! The staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. Their incredible hospitality made us feel like valued guests. We had a wonderful time at the hotel. The amenities were excellent, but it was the staff's warm and genuine hospitality that truly made our stay unforgettable.

We stayed at this Hilton hotel twice in Los Angeles. The location is quite good, within walking distance to several indoor attractions. The Los Angeles Police Department is about 300 meters away, but there are many homeless people on the road on the other side of the hotel. There's a Japanese supermarket behind the hotel where you can buy instant noodles and other East Asian foods. The front desk staff were generally very good and provided us with bottled water daily. However, there was a front office manager with a HK accent who had a terrible attitude and was discriminatory towards mainland Chinese tourists. But I'm not one to be easily bullied, and I stood my ground until he had nothing more to say.

We had a nice time. Staff were very accommodating, facility was clean, easy check-in/out process, very close to lots of food and attractions. 10 minutes from downtown Disney.. it was wonderful. The options/quality of the breakfast buffet wasn’t great but it was convenient for our group. Would absolutely come back again!

I was booked a King size bed when the web page turned up. I have booked 4 nights before this. I asked Alexandra to update my booking and extended the same room for another night. She said it’s fine and our room cards extended. Unfortunately, when I double checked with Luis, Mexican staff in the morning of 1 November 2024. He said that I have booked a Queen size and it was unlikely we could get the same for the last night. He added that we had to change to a queen bed room. We were preparing to go to downtown right now for the Dodger Parade.  We had to pack our luggage in a hurry and move to a higher level room. It didn’t give a us a good start of our day at all. My question is: why did Alexandra not telling me that we were not going to have the same room when I talked to her  about extension of another night? Or, we did get the same room but Luis did not follow and made us a hard time? Please investigate and improve the service in future!

We booked two double bed room. On day 1 the room had two complimentary drinking water bottles . On day 2 they refused to give another two bottles stating the refill is available for Hilton Honours Gold members only . Find this very strange since all hotels have policy of giving free drinking water bottle refills for each day of stay.

Everything is very good! The room is clean and hygienic! Free water and coffee are available at the front desk. We packed the food and asked the front desk for a free packing box to heat it in the microwave. The service is very enthusiastic! Worth recommending!

Very convenient location - close to Denny's (great for breakfast) and Wendy's (for burgers), Stater Bros (for groceries), and alcohol shop (which sells cheap alcohol and bottled water). The hotel offers free shuttle to Disney and Knott's Berry Farm; and plenty of spots for free parking. 30min drive to Citadel Outlets. Front desk staff are very nice and they offered complimentary warm cookies on our arrival. Housekeeping staff are prompt at fulfilling requests. My only complaint is their AC - it makes loud noises infrequently which can be annoying.

The room was on the first floor, with a back door nearby, perfect for parking and luggage. Parking is expensive, though, at $33 per day (including card processing fees). Alternatively, you can park for free in the adjacent shopping plaza. The room was standard, American-style, but the coffee provided was nice. The shopping district is just a 2-3 minute walk away, making it convenient for shopping. There's also a Panda fast food restaurant and a large supermarket nearby.

Supper great location. Very friendly staff and service. Easy in and out from the freeway. Across the street is the mall with a lot of eateries. Overall we’re happy with our stay.

The hotel was fairly average in its offerings. The service staff could benefit from additional training and improvement. The cleanliness of the rooms also left something to be desired, not quite meeting the highest standards. However, the location of the hotel is still reasonably acceptable, as it is relatively close to the nearby highway. While the overall experience was not exceptional, the hotel's proximity to major transportation routes makes it a somewhat convenient option for travelers. With some enhancements to the quality of service and attention to detail in the rooms, this hotel could potentially provide a more satisfactory stay. Nevertheless, as it stands currently, the hotel delivers a fairly standard experience that meets basic needs, but does not exceed expectations. Further refinements in various areas could elevate the guest experience to a more impressive level.
