The hotel is conveniently located near Little Tokyo, with a 7-Eleven right across the street and easy access to both the Blue and Yellow metro lines. The room was small, but the bathroom was surprisingly large. However, the price was too high, making it poor value for money, perhaps due to the World Cup.

The staff were nice and accommodating. They helped us extend our stay without any problems and Jorge helped us arrange our shuttle going to the airport. They have a restaurant and a garden. It is near the metro (about 3 blocks from Historic Broadway and 4 blocks from ) Civic Center/Grand Park) which makes it accessible if you’ll travel without a car. It is also near 7-eleven and Japanese supermarket. The room is spacious and the cleaning staff were helpful in maintaining the room’s cleanliness.

Although the hotel building is quite old, the rooms have been renovated, so the stay experience was good. The 'vista room' just overlooked a small garden, so the view was pretty average. However, it's located in the city center, making its location convenient. Plus, Japantown is right next door for shopping and dining, which is great.

The DoubleTree by Hilton Los Angeles Downtown boasts an excellent location with convenient access to transportation. The rooms are clean and quiet, and the bedding is very comfortable.
