Everything was great, except for the breakfast, which was quite poor; there wasn't even a single piece of meat.

Outdated. Room was spacious. Bed comfortable. Location close to Walk of Fame. Security not good enough. Although there were cameras, front door was open for anyone to enter and there was no one stationed at the front desk. As for housekeeping, throughout my 5 day stay, the given travel-size soap and shampoo were never once replenished. Breakfast options were very limited.

Location is perfect! I could not be more happy lol Located behind Ovation Hollywood, few steps to the metro and Big Bus. Great for shopping. Target, Marshalls are nearby. Patricia is very accommodating too during breakfast. The hotel seems like an old 2-storey building without an elevator but serves free coffee 24/7 so no complains! ☺️

I’ve never found a worse hotel in my entire life. I don’t know why they make the pictures look so good, but the reality is that it’s just a private place. The owner has a violent temper and is extremely aggressive. When we got there, he demanded hundreds of extra dollars. When we refused, he clenched his teeth and started yelling at us. We were two women and felt really scared. We asked to see the room, and after we saw it, we were even more frightened—it smelled like there was some kind of knockout drug in there. We asked to change rooms, but he said there were no other options. We asked to upgrade, but he said that wasn’t possible either. He kind of threatened us into staying. When I started recording a video, his attitude improved a little bit, and he finally agreed to let us check out. We left as quickly as we could. But here’s the problem: After we got out of there, Ctrip (the travel agency) notified us that they wouldn’t refund a single cent. It feels like Ctrip is working with them to scam people. It’s really terrifying. 我从小到大没法找到更糟糕的酒店了，我不知道为什么图片弄的那么好看但是实际上是一个私人店，老板有暴力倾向，极其凶狠，到店的时候要求收取额外几百美林然后我们拒绝后老板咬着牙齿吼我们，我们两个女的很害怕就要求带我们看下房间，结果看了房间更害怕好像有迷药一样的味道，我们要求换房间老板说没有，我们要求升级房间老板说没有，有点威胁的让我们入住，我拿起视频开始拍摄，老板就开始态度好一点点，最后同意我们退房，我们就赶紧跑。但是问题来了，我们逃出来后携程通知我们他们一毛不退款。携程联合他们专门坑骗同胞。太可怕了

Staff was very helpful and friendly

It's close to tourist attractions like the Chinese Theater, the room was very clean, and I had a very comfortable stay. Also, the front desk staff were very nice and I was happy to talk to them in a friendly manner. I would definitely stay here again if I'm ever in the Hollywood area.

The location was very good and it was convenient to go anywhere. There was a microwave in the kitchen and the room was spacious and very comfortable.

It is very close to several attractions such as the Avenue of Stars, Universal Studios and Griffith Observatory, and subway travel is also convenient. The hotel breakfast waiters are enthusiastic and give free toys to children.

Very good hotel, first-class location, 5 minutes walk to the Avenue of Stars. The breakfast service staff is very friendly. The only drawback is that the two king-size bed suites we booked are close to the equipment room at the back, which is noisy. Also, the air conditioner is old, which is a common problem in American hotels.

Highly recommended hotel if you want to stay next to the Walk of Fame and Universal Hollywood parks. I would like to highlight the attention of the managers who were very helpful and attentive and Patricia who prepared excellent breakfasts for us. Very spacious room with all the details. I will definitely return! This is the second time I have stayed at the hotel.

The location was very good and I was able to return to the hotel safely before sunset. There were many Japanese people there so I think you can feel safe.

I was looking for a hotel in the Hollywood area that was safe and had good access for sightseeing, so I decided to stay at this hotel. The Chinese Theater is also within walking distance, so access is great! The hotel staff was very kind and friendly. During breakfast, there was even a staff member who made waffles for us! All the staff were very hospitable, so I would like to stay there again if I have the opportunity. Speaking of the negative aspects, The bed was clean, but as a Japanese person, I felt that the bath was a bit disappointing. Also, because the walls are thin, you can hear other guests' voices and snoring at night. It didn't bother me, but I wouldn't recommend it to people with sensitive skin.

The receptionist and other staff were very responsive and kind. The room was clean and had chairs and a dining table, so it was easy to use. Although the height of the bed is high for Japanese people, there was plenty of space.
