Very nice but very close to off ramp I5 so exhaust breaks can interrupt your sleeping. Good choice though. Close to restaurants too. Would recommend highly. Gas nearby as well. Simple stressless stopover

The rooms are simple and clean, which is a bonus in my book. They come with a fridge, microwave, and airconditioning. The beds are firm the pillows are reasonable of thickness (not the neck breakers so many hotels love to stock). Breakfast is offered with the room, but we passed for something with more options. For the extreme budget traveler, the added breakfast is an added bonus. One can choose from fresh waffles, cold cereal, packaged pastries, coffee, and tea. There is also a nice little Mexican restaurant sharing the same building as the office which serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. While there is a small pool, it was closed when we stayed here. I have a feeling it's because early April isn't really swimming weather, but it was already getting hot in the afternoon. I also discovered a laundromat washer and dryer outside the last unit downstairs which may mean once and do a load while they rest up for the next leg of their journey. Overall the staff is friendly and accommodating.

If you are driving a long distance into LA or Hollywood, look no further this place is the best value on Interstate 5. The people who run this class address are incredibly nice and really care about your stay. When I say the price is right, the price is right!! Even Bob Barker would have approved. Huge rooms, very clean and the staff who are cleaning this place are thorough and covid approved. I couldn't believe it included breakfast too. When you realize you're going to pay 3 times as much down in TinselTown, I always stop here to help myself with the bottom line. But more so I feel good staying at a place where everything is right. I can not acknowledge enough the commiment and good vibes the people who are running this place exude. If I could give 10 stars I would because in an age where people are seeing how they can deliver less, this hotel is delivering the best. I will be back 100%!! You earned a loyal customer for life. The best plan when heading south on I-5 towards Los Angeles is to have lunch or dinner at Harris Ranch Restaurant then drive 45 minutes to this location to purge a great meal. Breakfast is OK, no problem, full Western breakfast. There is a supermarket next door, as well as a fast food restaurant McDonald's. The room is large and there is no problem with children. There is a parking lot at the front and back of the hotel and it is free to stop. There is no kettle, there is a coffee maker, and hotels in the United States (except for homestays) basically do not have a kettle. The hotel is also very clean and hygienic.

I had to do a one night stay near Bakersfield on CA trip. This hotel is in Taft, which is 25 mnute drive west of I-5. It is a straight two lane blacktop road with no traffic. What a nice place-great front desk, spacious clean room, micro-fridge and microwave. Taft has number of restaurants too. For breakfast-coffee, pastries, bananas put out. I paid $66 which is a real bargain in comparison to more $$$ in Bakersfield at sketchy places. This is a toally safe place. Highly recommended if you want to drive a half hour.
