Hotel is nice, bed is comfy and the location is spot on for accessing the majority of Louisville. It is a great spot for those visiting for leisure which also comes with its flaws, once people finish partying it was quite loud at 0200 from both guests and those outside in the streets. You can hear everything from next door and in the corridors. Breakfast is good, bar staff were attentive and overall a pleasant visit.

Rooms are dated. Felt like I was duped by the photos and rating on ******* which is quite unsettling. - scuff marks on my walls - stains on carpet - lobby from valet smells like stinky cheese - my room smelled like a hamburger - photos make the rooms look like they’ve been recently refreshed which is not the case. Feels like 1980 with a remodel that was done 10+ years ago Would not stay here again. Thought I could trust ******* ratings

Room was very awkwardly set up. Neither sofa or bed was in front of tv. Room wasn't ready at 6:30pm when we checked in...echo/talking was really loud all night from people in the hallway... had to lug bags from parking garage instead of being able to check in and then park.

Hotel itself was great, our room was clean, air/heat worked great. We had no issues whatsoever. We were there for an event so the traffic for the elevator was pretty heavy. Would definitely stay again. We did not order room service and the restaurants attached to the hotel unfortunately weren’t very satisfactory. Again, we were there for an event so there was a lot of people there and it was hard to get into other restaurants close by (except for the ones that weren’t open or closed super early).

Very little interaction with staff. The hotel was clean and in a great location. Could have used extra pillows for the bed. The self serve market was ok but rushed you through your purchase. Overall I enjoyed the stay but it wasn’t anything special.

I recently stayed at the Hyatt Regency in downtown Louisville while attending a conference, and my experience was exceptional from start to finish. The hotel is absolutely beautiful — modern, clean, and perfectly situated in the heart of downtown, making it easy to walk to restaurants, shops, and event venues. What truly stood out, though, was the level of service. Every staff member I encountered was professional and welcoming, but I want to especially highlight Kristy at the front desk. She went above and beyond to help me with changes to my reservation, handled everything with kindness and professionalism, and made what could have been a stressful process completely seamless. Her genuine care and positive energy set the tone for the rest of my stay. The rooms were spacious, the amenities were top-notch, and the conference facilities were well-organized and comfortable — a perfect fit for both business and leisure travelers. Overall, I highly recommend the Hyatt Regency Louisville to anyone visiting the area. The combination of a prime location, beautiful environment, and outstanding staff (especially Kristy!) made my stay truly memorable.
