Hotel Bastide & Spa - Villa de Lourmarin

What a fabulous hotel , we stayed in the themed room , and then the suite , both were very nice. The staff at the hotel are amazing and so welcoming, nothing was too much trouble, the restaurant recommended were excellent. Don't hesitate to stay here , perfect for the village and a very nice pool area , we were super happy and would definitely come back !!! Merci , hotel bastide lourmarin!!! Bravo

My husband and I stayed for six lovely nights at Hotel Bastide. The hotel is perfectly located just outside of Lourmarin but an easy walk to the village center. We stayed in an upper level theme room, very clean and quiet and spacious, with a nice view of the pool and the village. We paid for the hotel breakfast and felt it was very worth the cost. The lovely breakfast room was well stocked with a variety of fresh pastry, fruits, homemade breads or they will make you eggs to order. Free onsite parking that is secured at night. The staff was welcoming and easy going. We highly recommend Hotel Bastide.

The location is convenient. The room was right up front, with a window located right at a door so no privacy. Other rooms probably better. This was the room called La Pistache. Avoid if you can.

We had the loveliest stay in this Central Luberon Valley. This was a great location to visit surrounding villages from. The bilingual staff were charming and very helpful with guidance regarding where to focus our trip. Our room was spotless, quiet and very comfortable.

Room was good. Location of the Inn was great. Lourmarin is a great town to visit.

Management are sharks. I am sure not many of readers will ever have a similar situation but would like you to be aware of their lack of integrity. I received an email clearly stating: "if you still wish to cancel your stay, we would accept the cancellation without charge, and the sum of €173.95 would be refunded to you." I replied via email (with delivery confirmation) accepting the refund within the timeline given. They now claim "We never received your email from Monday informing us of the cancellation." Microsoft's email delivery records prove otherwise. They're refusing the refund, claiming I didn't respond to their phone calls (made at odd hours from an unknown number). This is despite my written confirmation within their own timeline. They ignored my email and are using unanswered calls as an excuse to keep the money. Bottom line: They're using technicalities to avoid honouring their own written refund offer.

We arrived late so no contact with staff. In the morning they were friendly. Person in spa was a bit unfriendly when I asked question. No one thought to mention that it was market day in town before we left.

Great hotel in perfect location - 5 minute walk to village centre. Facilities were very good and the village was lovely with a number of small restaurants for a short term stay. Would have no hesitation to stay at this hotel again. Great location to enjoy provence !!
