Great stay, would definitely recommend. Only negative was the breakfast service was very slow and they were clearly struggling. So may need more staff. The food was great however.

They put customer luggage unattended in the hotel alley without any cover nor not even in a room. And the welcoming biscuits are half open . That meant they don’t even check and renew all the amenities for the customers. The front office people are rude and unhelpful. We paid £250 per night for bed and breakfast in exchange something for that. We can get way better service in London Central area. Thank you but it is not a friendly hotel to Chinese customers.

The hotel is right by the river. It is an old building with modern facilities. The environment and service are beyond expectations. There is a church opposite, which is very ancient. There is free parking, recommended!

English breakfast is good. The room is comfortable and has heating at night. No toothbrush, slippers, hair dryer. Pastoral scenery, classical architecture

The room is nice. But the room is on the top floor, which is easy to bump your head. The stairs are very narrow and it is inconvenient to move luggage. The environment is excellent.

Very satisfied. I want to stay in a fairytale town. It is quiet and beautiful. There is no food around. You can only eat in the hotel. But it is very good. Very British. The room is large and very quiet. Highly recommended.

Go out and see cattle and sheep

The house is a loft, made of stone and wood, with a large and clean space, a double bed upstairs, a toilet, a sofa bed downstairs, a cloakroom under the stairs, and a small alcove! The scenery outside the house is very beautiful, with a small river passing by the door, surrounded by green lawns, and surrounding farms with horses! Breakfast is super delicious! It’s a pity that I didn’t choose to book dinner when I checked in the day before. Judging from the deliciousness of the breakfast, I can infer that the dinner must be good!

Very very beautiful hotel, rich breakfast

I heard that it used to be a school and was converted into a hotel. It has a second floor with beautiful views. I took a lot of beautiful photos and videos. It has English breakfast, English service, and the mattresses and pillows are very comfortable.

Ten years later, it’s my second time to stay here. It’s quiet and beautiful. The breakfast is great. It’s a great experience.
