This is a traditional hotel in Laos so don’t expect anything nice from it. The room itself is very dark and unable to see clearly even with all the lights on. The sunlight doesn’t get into the room. And there’s ALOT of mosquitoes buzzing everywhere especially when you sleep.(Finally understand why Miniso is selling the mosquito zapper)The room is not soundproof either ,we wokeup at 5am because a group of chinese tourists check in and they’re so loud the conversation itself feels like they’re shouting. I also heard the guests complaining no water during their shower…and the toilet design is really weird…look like a public toilet and it’s quite dark too…the bicycle rental is cheap but be aware because some of the bicycle is not safe and stable,quality problems. And I don’t understand why they gave a key card tying to a huge wood,making it difficult to keep so they suggested we leave the room key at the reception whenever we leave the hotel. Doesn’t make sense.The location was alright, exact 15minutes walking to Luang Prabang night market

I honestly do not know how to feel about this hotel. Long story short, if you are sensitive to noise or value peace and quiet, this is NOT the place for you. If you want the full story, keep reading. - The good things first: The room was spacious, and the bathroom was large as well. There was a small balcony with a table and chairs, exactly as shown on the booking platform. The biggest highlight was the mattress. It was extremely soft, comfortable and helped my back relax after long and adventurous days. The room was well equipped with basic toiletries such as toothpaste, toothbrushes, a mini comb, shower cap, cotton buds, and soap. They even provided two umbrellas in the room. The hair dryer was powerful, so drying hair did not take long. There was a small TV, which was enough for entertainment. Most channels were Thai, which was totally fine for us. Both the ceiling fan and air conditioner worked well. Hot water was available after waiting about five minutes. - The downsides: They do NOtT seem to pay attention to guest notes. After reading reviews, I requested a quiet room away from the stairs, but we were given a room right next to the staircase. This alone was not a big issue for us. The real problem started on day 3 of our four night stay, as the first 2 days were on the weekend. On weekdays, the school next door is extremely noisy. Resting during the day is almost impossible. We dont wanna ask for room changung because we have been here half of our stay already. The noise only stops after school hours in the evening. If you are assigned rooms from 501 to 512, be mentally prepared. There is no soundproofing at all. You can hear everything from outside the room. If you are unlucky enough to be there during group bookings, expect constant noise from other guests and from housekeeping. - Final disappointment: What made me change my rating from three stars to two stars was the staff and management, and the 2 stars were completely for the room itself. At check out, no one even said goodbye, let alone smiled or offered help with luggage. The atmosphere felt cold and indifferent, something I have never experienced in my previous travels. Overall, it was disappointing. It feels like a place that focuses on one time guests rather than building returning customers. It was a memorable experience, but not in a good way. I will definitely choose more carefully next time.

Excellent top quality and lovely pool

It’s quite a good hotel with a perfect location, rooms are colonial style, nice view from the rooftop. There’s a small gym on the 11th floor (like 2 thread mills and an exercise bike) and a swimming pool on the 12th. Good breakfast with a variety of egg dishes and even beef noodle soup.

I came back to stay at the same place because the room was spacious, beautiful, clean, and the breakfast was very good.

This was booked as part of a tour so I cannot speak of value or pricing. The location was very good, only a short tuk tuk ride to the center. The rooms and the shower were oversized and clean The pool looked inviting and clean. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Included breakfast was off premises (and the entry stairs are high) and was very good. I would book this hotel again. There are many interesting things to see in Luang Prabang and many places to eat and drink.

My family and I (8 people) just had a wonderful trip to Luang Prabang, and we stayed at this hotel. It was absolutely amazing—the space was spacious and comfortable, the staff were extremely professional, and everything was clean and relaxing. I will definitely come back here someday soon! - Location: 600 meters from the Old Quarter Fresh, clean, and friendly atmosphere; there is a swimming pool, though it’s quite small Wooden houses with a classic design yet still elegant Fully equipped amenities, including hot water and entertainment programs on TV... The room has excellent soundproofing

Comfortable hotel lovely rooms with a balcony looking over the pool very tranquil. Pool wonderful. Breakfast with delicious choices of food, waitress & chefs great. Hotel staff were very caring and respectful always willing to help with kind smiling faces. Very enjoyable stay👏

There's nothing to complain about in this hotel Great rooms, staff, facilities, close to things, good breakfast, TV, internet good, pool nice, balconies with fan, fridge, comfortable beds, daily cleaning etc.
