The Luang Say Residence

The environment is super good. The lake is beautiful. The only problem is that it is a bit far from the city. However, the hotel sells meals and drinks. It is very cost-effective. I like it very much. I hope the hotel can provide free shuttle service or half-price transportation in the afternoon. The transportation fee is a bit expensive.

The hotel is very beautiful, the rooms and gardens are beautiful, and there is a swimming pool, but the location feels a bit remote and it is not convenient to bring children.

Facilities: Formerly a member of the SLH Hotel 🏨 group, with top-notch hardware configuration and French design, it is very comfortable even without air conditioning at night. Hygiene: Stayed for three nights in a row. On the second night, the cleaning was sloppy. The trash cans were not cleaned. Paper towels and mineral water were not replenished in time. If pointed out, improvements could be made immediately. But this should not happen in a hotel of this caliber. Environment: The small hotel is small in size and well-equipped with all the necessary facilities. The restaurant, swimming pool and garden are all good. Mosquitoes were handled very well and there were almost no bites during the stay. Service: Although there were some hiccups during the stay, they were all resolved perfectly in the end. No one can make mistakes without being a sage.

From the architecture to the room design and the bread basket for breakfast, they are all full of French style. Even the keys are unique. It is still SLH and the room is large. The price is really great value! The waiters at the front desk and in the restaurant are all very nice and always say hello with a smile every time they pass by. There is a frangipani tree in front of our room, and you can pick up two of them and wear them on your head every day when you go out. The hotel has a small swimming pool and bar. It is two kilometers away from the city. There is a shuttle bus to the night market at night. If you call a taxi during the day, it will cost less than 50,000 kip. The hotel front desk can also help call a tuk tuk. The lady at the front desk also helped us solve the problem that the SIM card we bought could not make calls. Thank you very much. The number of Pioneer standard rooms set during the National Day period is only over 700. Although the hotel is not in the city center, it takes a few minutes to get there by taxi at 50,000 TT. It was so comfortable entering the room, with Southeast Asian wooden interiors and comfortable bedding. At around 6:30 in the morning, there is a charity at the intersection where you turn right in front of the hotel. There are almost no tourists, and there is no need to go near Foreigner Street after 5 o'clock. The breakfast was great. We brought two children and there was no separate charge.

The hotel is outside the old city, very quiet, and the surrounding food is very convenient. The hotel has a quiet environment and green trees. I stayed here for six nights and it was very comfortable. The hotel's service staff are very enthusiastic and proactively smile and say hello. The room is cleaned on time every day, and the turndown service at night is very special. Shuttle service is provided from 5 to 8:30, making it easy to go to the night market and eat. The hotel also has bicycles, which is convenient for exploring the old city.

There is no introduction about the hotel when you check in. For example, the room rate includes breakfast without telling the place and time of dining, swimming pool usage time, shuttle bus time, bicycle rental service, etc.; 2⃣️, deliberately sent an English email a few days in advance to politely inform the hotel that it was a commemorative day trip, but no one responded to the email on the second day of check-in. The funny thing is that I mentioned the problem that no one responded to the email, so I forwarded it to another email , still ignored, I was about to check out and I found the hotel staff to tell me face to face, so I hurried to the room to make a flower, which was also very unnecessary; 3⃣️, the front ones can be tolerated, but the breakfast on the second day obviously ordered before the white people at the next table, and even took a seat 5 minutes before the white people, but was served later, and the white people's table was frequently greeted by a male waiter. Some of them were asked "everything is good?" In contrast, my table was served by machines. I don't know why Luang Say, as a hotel of such a large size, treats the Chinese so harshly; 4⃣️, services can be divided into rooms and others. More than 80% of the services during the stay need to be requested and actively informed. If you are very polite and careful throughout the process, you will also encounter things such as requesting due daily rooms Basic services such as cleaning will be ignored. Call and leave the room to wait for the cleaning to come back but find that there is no one. Call the front desk but get a very impolite sentence "We are very busy, we will come later". When the service is not in place, you still have to be treated with verbal impoliteness; you ask for a few more bottles of pure water, but you are told that a bottle is one dollar, and the store worships the dollar extremely. Giving local currency here would seem indecent, somehow... 5⃣️, the swimming pool is very dirty, even with turbidity, the pool water is also very turbid, and the towel service has to go to the front desk to "request" many times before it is supplied; 6⃣️, when it is not close to the urban area, the shuttle bus service has shrunk, and the room introduction is written all day long. When I arrived, I was told that it was only available from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. This is another hotel far away from the urban area in Luang Prabang Can't see the situation. There is basically no service, discrimination, and old facilities are the characteristics of this hotel, please choose carefully.
