Nice guesthouse, a 25min walk to the entrance of the great wall. You can have dinner there and the food is delicous!! The owners are very nice and helpful. I definitely recommend staying there

Wonderful place to stay, we loved it! Within walking distance of the main gate of the Jinshanling Great Wall, this place is beautiful, spacious, welcoming, clean and comfortable. The host is so nice and the restaurant downstairs is delicious (try the eggplant special, it's spectacular). We would absolutely stay here again!

We started our Great Wall walk at the north gate in gubeikou. This guest house was very convenient for that. Gubeikou is a lovely village with a shop and a few restaurants. The owners met us from the taxi and took us to our room. Room very clean and warm. We were hungry and they made us homemade dumplings, very tasty. Nice shower. Kept our bags while we walked the wall to jingshaling and returned the next day to get train back to Beijing

The place is very closed to the main entrance of the Great Wall. They will propose you to drive you there for 20¥ but honestly you can just walk there easily. The personnel can give you some advices for your walk and show you what you can do on a map. The food is good, there is fresh beer and cold water. I recommend it

It was a lovely place and people. We talked through translator but there was no problem at all. The room was amazing. I am not sure where I can find that kind of room with this price but here. I ate a dinner and it was great both price and taste. Next day I climbed up again and asked to prepare my lunch. It was wonderful to eat such a great food with the great view on the great wall. I 100% recommend this hotel to stay and taste foods. Almost forgot. I bought apples and pears. Great.

The room was spacious and spotlessly clean, fully equipped with all the essentials. The surroundings were very pleasant, and it was wonderfully quiet at night, perfect for a restful sleep. The service was excellent – warm, attentive, and they even prepared breakfast for us, which was a very thoughtful and heartwarming gesture. Their main courses were also delicious and offered great value for money. Overall, I was extremely satisfied. My only regret is not having taken any photos.
