I will definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to spend a night or more, near Jinshanling Middle Gate Great Wall. It is just beside the ticket counter. And when other shops are closed after sunset, the property can still cook up some dinner for the guests. On my second night, the portion of my fried rice was so big, I felt grateful for the treatment. The bed was comfortable. The room heater worked very well. The place was not noisy. It was a good stay.

Great location for visiting the wall, right near the cable car. Small and friendly simple hotel ideal for an overnight stay and near to see both sun set and rise. Only negative was a hard mattress.

Amazing location. Close to the gate so you can go for sunset before dinner and sunrise before breakfast. Local breakfast was good value. Dinner was ok.

I had a really nice stay for one night. Everything was as I expected it. Perfect location if you want to visit the Great Wall, since the entrance is almost around the corner. The staff was super friendly and helped a lot. Great service.

Friendly family run place, and both father and son was very happy to assist in anything, especially advice on how to tackle the great wall visit. If you are into photography, even better as they will provide all the best advice, including getting a double-entry ticket so that you can go for sunrise and sunset shoot. The place is literally just outside the gate!!

The owner and all the staff were very kind. The property is next to the park entrance gates, which is very convenient for watching the sunrise and sunset over the Great Wall of China. The owner also offers a transfer service to and from Gubeikou Station. The rooms are comfortable and warm. I highly recommend this property if you're visiting the Great Wall of China!

Jinshanling is hailed as the most beautiful section of the Great Wall, bar none, and the Navy Farmhouse is also the closest farmhouse to the Great Wall, bar none. Breakfast is ¥10 per person and delicious. Departing at 5:00 AM to watch the sunrise at the Great Wall won't be too late. The location is right next to the ticket gate.
