We are well experienced inn goers, and even own & operate one ourselves. Woodrow House was the best experience of our lives. The house was built to look like a normal very nice home on the outside, but inside it was designed to accommodate many guests, with a dining room to seat 12 and a living room setup to allow a similar number of viewers of the big screen TV, or sit at tables in and outside to just talk. Kitchen is set up to allow quick production of meals. The staff is very well trained and thus the breakfast was great, and came fast. Our room, the President Room, was amazing decorated with historic items from a number of presidents. Also thoroughly enjoyed talking with the elderly father of the lady of the house. He is a retired professional jazz musician and has had a interesting career. Only downer was the owners. who bult this amazing place 28 years ago, were off attending a week long class on how to become winemakers. Would have loved to pick their brains.
