EXCELLENT quality and service for such a reasonable price. Front desk staff (esp Fabrizio & Nicolo) VERY ATTENTIVE to if the room was ok and if my needs were met. Wonderful breakfast spread. Cozy outdoor sitting area in the evening for prosecco or wine. I've stayed all over Italy recently, and paid way more to receive so much less. Albergo San Martino is a true gem!!

Stayed here to start my hike on the Via Francigena. Very quiet and comfortable room in the Annex. Nice Italian breakfast. Helpful, friendly staff.

This a fabulous hotel inside the walls of the old city and within walking distance of the Train Station. The rooms were huge and so lovely. There is no elevator but the staff member that checked us in insisted on carrying our bags up 2 flights of stairs for us. The staff themselves are great and very welcoming and engaging. The breakfast is great and can be taken outside in the nice weather if you wish.

Perfect location, walkable to the train station and many restaurants and shops. Big bathroom and spacious room. A little to noisy and A/C didn't feel to much.

Nice an typical hotel in the middle of the city. It has several rooms even in different buildings but very close each others. The rooms are clean and big with old style, feeling is similar to the rest of the city. The staff is so gentle, they try to fix anything you need (rooms a little bit in advance, changing somewhere if your room is not available anymore after check out). There is also internal parking space (as extra). Is 300m driving, just be sure your car is not too big. To park they give you a remote to open a small gate. Breakfast is nice and Italian. From here are 2min waking away from the cathedral and close to the center of Lucca
