My husband and I had a wonderful experience here. The room was very comfortable, the staff was attentive and helpful and the breakfast was lovely. The location was great for visiting the walled city too. I would highly recommended this hotel for the price!

Stayed for 4 nights in very hot weather. Air con worked well in our room, staff were great -friendly and helpful and room was clean. A short, flat walk in to Lucca. (Air con in common areas was not very effective and breakfast room was a little small for the number of guests!)

Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was clean and bed was comfortable and air con worked very well in bedroom in a heatwave! Breakfast room was a little tight for the number of guests staying and air con did not really operate that well in reception area and breakfast room. We enjoyed our stay in Lucca and Villa Romantica!

This hotel was beautiful, very clean with a lovely outside.
The staff were very accommodating and managed to get rooms ready for our very large party so that we could leave luggage before check in.
The location is a short walk from the walls of Lucca, so a great opportunity to walk through them on the way to the inner walls.
I would recommend.

A small hotel just outside the walls of Lucca, so an easy walk into the town. A delightful villa set in pleasant gardens. A pity that the swimming pool is no longer there.

For two days of a gadventure trip, we stayed at Hotel Villa Romántica. The proprietor, Wolfgang, was very friendly and helpful. He made you feel like you were at home. So very relaxing and accommodating. The room was basic, but clean. So many beautiful plants made you feel like you were in the jungle. Pura Vida!

Such a lovely b&b with a friendly feel to it. Perfect for visiting Lucca as it is very quick to get into the city walls on foot. The room was clean and equipped with everything needed- the included breakfast was also lovely.
