Nicely located by the river overlooking the famous bridge crossing from Sarria to Portomarin and backyard is a large plantation of fruit trees, vegetables, potato and a vineyard. Mario & Pedro (grandsons of the owner) were both a good hosts and assisting in providing the driving, hotel and dining services. It's a plus that they can speak English. Having said that, the rooms though are very small.

From the moment Mario senior picked us up with a smile in the teaming rain, to the magnificent property and the care and attention of Mario junior over dinner, our stay while on the Camino Walk was all the more memorable due to the care and attention of Team Mario

Like most customers at this place we were walking the Camino. The B&B is about 1 km out of town which is an undesirable walk after 24 kms on the trail. They have a courtesy bus if it isn’t being used to run errands! The rooms are not new and not at all sound proof-you hear the rooms beside and behind conversations clearly. Beds small, but the food was good in the evening, the breakfast is all set out on your table in the morning and they have a good bar. AND dinner is served at a reasonable hour from 6.30pm so no going to bed with a full stomach and none of this “don’t open until 8 pm” rubbish.

Minibus arranged by hotel to take us to the place as well outside town. Small log cabin . Tiny bed in basic room. Staff nice . Fixed dinner. Shower holder broken . Breakfast on table for you when you arrived.

Really beautiful location, family run piece of heaven. They make their own wine which is really.great. Had delicious homemade soup and pork, soo tasty! Loved it here, great retreat after 1st day on Camino!

We stayed as a group of 6 in this beautiful Casa. A hidden, family run gem, with friendly, accommodating and helpful staff! Rooms are spacious and comfortable , I loved the combination of rustic and modern decor. All fruit and veg is grown on the farm and served in meals. Enjoy sitting in the courtyard overlooking the river, listening to the sounds of birds,very peaceful and tranquil. Breakfast is very basic but adequate. Transport to centre of town is offered, very helpful if starting Camino route. Would highly recommend for future stays, this family put their heart and soul into this business and it shows!

I was a bit dubious when I arrived but I have to say, it is fabulous…. The staff are amazing, Mario specifically, very friendly. Everyone made sure our stay was excellent and the food was truly excellent…. Accommodation is basic but very comfortable

Great Camino stay with our group, right on the river. Even though the location is rural, it's very close to Portomarin, walk or hotel will give you a ride to town. Very relaxing with awesome food from the property.
