With Lund University's historic campus two blocks in one direction nd the central railway station and tram and bus hub a few blocks in the other, this small hotel is ideally located for exploring Old Town Lund. Guest rooms are set above the British-style pub, which serves good food and a wide variety of draft and bottled beers, plus wines and mixed drinks. An elevator made it easy to access my room, which was small but cheerfully appointed. The front desk doesn't open until 2:00, and although guests who arrive after it closes in the evening can check in at the pub, that doesn't open until 4:00.

Nice spacious room, the pub was very well done and the staff were friendly, so many beers to select from. I loved the street view seat, very close to the centre of the town. Review From the Irish man. I recommend a stay at the bishops Arms, I'm sure you will like it.

While freezing outside with luggage I asked the staff to let me in at 14:30 (even if I waited until 15:00 for check in) just wanted ti be in warm place while waiting. They suggested “go around downtown for 30 minutes and then come back”

Nice small hotel in Lund with excellent location very close to the central train station. Reasonable well equipped rooms, clean and a nice breakfast area. I would say it is very good value for money considering the location.

With a fine position in Lund center, Bishops Arms is still a bit of an odd (and old) construction. Both a (large) pub in British style and a hotel, there is moderate "hotel feeling"; there's no actual lobby or public areas besides the pub/bar itself. The feeling of being on an old ferry is apparent. A minimum of staff to help you. Checking in is done at the counter in the pub. The rooms are accessed by one elevator. Rooms - at least the one I got - are basic and a bit worn and tired - could do well with a renovation. Not particularly fresh and clean: a certain amount of dust and "patina" can be found in the interior. Beds ok. Bathroom ok (yes, renovated). No AC, so it can be hot in the summer. Breakfast also ok, but very basic. Considering the price and the competition in town I can't really recommend this hotel. There are several options with fresher

The hotel is very old and run down. The work desk in my room was broken. Check-in was handled via the bar even though it was only around 1600. No staff was available in the reception during my 2-day stay at the hotel. The wifi was insufficient, and I had to use mobile data in the evening. The breakfast was rather limited, with just the basics there. No luggage storage is available at the hotel, and you have to use pay boxes at the train station instead, where I had to pay more than 300 SEK for one daytime storage. I cannot recommend this hotel.

Good hotel within easy walking distance of the railway station. Met our needs in every way when we stayed for a few nights: pleasant bedroom with a comfortable bed. The bar is somewhat akin to a British pub.

Right in city centre. Very comfortable small room with great mattress and bathroom was well fitted and modern. Really good breakfast in dining room included in price. Just 3 minute walk from central trains station. There is no lobby or lounge - you to the busy bar to check-in. Staff were fast but distant and not one word like "welcome to our hotel". That was my only downside to an nice hotel and at good value.

The staff was excellent! The room was big and the bed was nice. The breakfast room is cosy. The only downside is that they don't have a luggage storage, but that could be solved with an early check-in.

The room was Small, but good enough for two people. The bathroom was bigger than expected with a great shower! The bed was a bit too soft for my liking, but comfortable enough for one night. The bar downstairs has some great food and beers. We were facing an inner yard, so we didn't hear anything from the atreet/ bar. Check in is done inside the bar, which was a bit different, but works ;)

Only good thing with this hotel is the location. The breakfast is really sad. Second day we didn’t even bother and went to another hotel and paid for breakfast instead. We received and email the day before arrival that check in time was 3PM. Having a tight schedule with a group of friends I called to check availability of early check in. The call was answered by Elite Ideon (a sister hotel), and I was informed there is no staff on site before check in opens and he confirmed the check in time in the email. We borrowed a car from our friends and drove to the hotel, only to be met by a closed pub (aka reception). We had to wait for an hour, hence affected the whole plan for New Year's Eve where our friends had started preparing food and things. Only explanation was that the bar manager had went to Australia (or something) on Holiday and probably forgot to update the information. I wouldn’t recommend anyone staying at this hotel. There are many other great hotels around.

Arrived at 8:45 pm to be told the kitchen was closed even though the web page said open to 9 pm. Asked where we could get food. Bar personnel said they didn’t know. Tutns out that there were several open restaurants within one block. The light switch in the rooms turns pn all the lights and electrical.sockets so if you want to charge your phone while you sleep you have to sleep with the light on. Choose another hotel if you can!
