Huike Residence (Luoyi Ancient City Store)

It might have been April, peak peony season, so hotel prices were quite high, especially on weekends when they surged significantly. After checking out a few places nearby, this one seemed the most reasonable. The key was that they didn't inflate prices on weekends. I booked two weeks in advance and got a twin room for a great price, under 200 yuan, which was excellent value for money. The guesthouse itself is very new, and the owner personally hand-picked all the bedding and duvets, which were incredibly comfortable.

Clean and tidy, the owners are very welcoming. Great value for money, especially if you're visiting for the Peony Festival. Highly recommend!

Although it's a bit far from the city center, it's close to a subway station, which makes getting around very convenient. There are also plenty of places to eat nearby. I highly recommend Zhang Laosan Hele Noodles, which is delicious and very close by, as is Nanguan Xiaowan Beef Soup. The landlady was very enthusiastic and recommended some great local eateries. The room was very clean. The guesthouse is a self-built house in an urban village, so the surroundings are a bit messy, but the price is definitely affordable.

The owner and the people nearby were incredibly welcoming and friendly. Plus, the hotel is right next to one of Luoyi Ancient City's gates, which is absolutely fantastic! 😆

The location is close to Luoyi Ancient City and Shizijie (Cross Street), and about 500 meters from the subway station, making transportation convenient. The owner was also quite welcoming. Overall, the price-performance ratio was okay.

The owners were very welcoming and attentive. They even turned on the air conditioning in the room before we arrived, making us feel comfortable and at ease as we were from out of town. The room was well-equipped, with disposable face towels and bath towels, and was clean and hygienic. We booked a family room with one large and one small bed, and overall, we had a good experience.
